It just got a whole lot sweeter to be a Disney World Annual Passholder!
If you have already booked up your allotment of Park Pass Reservations, you now have another way to grab some passes for another trip!
All guests must make Park Pass Reservations in order to visit a Disney World park. These are in addition to buying park tickets — you must have both the ticket AND the park pass.
If you have a Disney World Annual Pass, you are given a certain number of park passes that you can hold at any given time. Once you fill up that allotted amount, can’t make new reservations until you use or cancel some of your current ones. However, Disney sometimes offers BONUS park passes, which show up on the Annual Passholder calendar from time to time. These reservations do NOT count as part of the reservation allotments. Bonus Reservation dates are designated by yellow stars which Passholders will find when going through the calendar to select their date and park.
Now, Disney has added some NEW bonus park passes for Annual Passholders! From March 2nd through March 10th, 2023, bonus park pass reservations have opened for Annual Passholders! These are available only at specific parks and won’t count towards your allocation, so you can still snag some even if you have a trip already booked that’s tying up your allotment.
Here’s a look at the bonus passes now available:
- Thursday, March 2nd: EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Friday, March 3rd: EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Saturday, March 4th: EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Sunday, March 5th: EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Monday, March 6th: EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Tuesday, March 7th: EPCOT and Magic Kingdom
- Wednesday, March 8th: EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Thursday, March 9th: EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom
When booking your passes take care that you are checking which parks are available; EPCOT has bonus availability for all of these days at the moment, but other parks are only showing openings on certain days. Either way, this is a great chance to squeeze in an extra trip right before the Spring Break crowds arrive!
This adds to the perks of being an Annual Passholder, and might help make up for the TRON Lightcycle / Run preview booking snafu. We can see these openings getting booked up quickly so be sure to get your reservations in soon!

Ken says
Interesting, but when can an annual pass holder start getting in after 2pm without a park pass…?
Randi Briggs says
I truly wish WDW and Disneyland would allow at least 8 days of reservations at once. It is so hard to plan for trips when trips each last four days. Sigh!
Bellamouse says
Ken… That starts April 18th.
