The start of the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival often signals the start of Spring Break season at Disney World, and it can be a very busy time!
We got word this week that Orlando International Airport is expecting some of its busiest days EVER this month, and we got a hint about WHICH spring break weeks Disney World expects the most crowds.
But the Spring Break crowds can be hard to predict, because schools across the country take their spring breaks at different times, which left us asking: are the Spring Break crowds at Disney World this weekend? So we’re visiting the parks to check out the crowds today.
First, we have to ask ourselves, is Disney World EVER not crowded. Yes, but those days are few and far between.
Disney World Annual Passholders are in Magic Kingdom today for their preview of the new TRON Lightcycle / Run coaster opening next month, which could be contributing to crowds. And in EPCOT, Orlando locals are visiting to try out all the new eats at the Flower and Garden Festival.
But for the most part, we’re finding the crowds at Disney World today to be “normal busy” rather than “Spring Break busy.” So, if you’re nearby, this maybe a good weekend to visit before the crowds descend!
If you’re headed to the festival, be sure to check out our video on all the new eats!
