There are SO many great places to eat in Orlando, and we’re not just talking in Disney World.

For those who love fast food, there’s way more than just McDonald’s, too. A few new fast food joints have opened in Orlando recently, including Portillo’s and White Castle. Now, though, ANOTHER fast food joint is coming to the area: Jack in the Box!
According to ClickOrlando.com, Jack in the Box has announced it has a new franchisee that will bring new restaurants to both Arkansas and Central Florida, including the Orlando area. Jack in the Box has not had a store in Florida in over 30 years, so if anyone’s been craving it, you’ll be able to satisfy those cravings soon!

The fast food chain is known for its diverse menu that features everything from burgers to tacos. It currently has 2,180 locations in 21 states. But it’s looking to expand further.
In a statement, the company said, “Jack in the Box completed a strategic market plan that shows approximately 60 trade area opportunities in the Orlando market.”

“We are targeting Orlando because of the market growth, the attractive demographic, and psychographic profiles that match our core customer and the prominence of having units in the core Florida market,” Jack in the Box said.
So you may soon have a NEW option for when those fast food cravings hit when you’re in the Orlando area. However, Jack in the Box has not said exactly WHERE the new restaurants will be or when they’ll open, so we’ll keep an eye on things and let you know if any are being built near Disney World! This makes me unbelievably happy! One of the few things I miss about California is Jack in the Box to the point that at times I have seriously considered driving up to Georgia (I think the closest location) for an Ultimate Cheeseburger.
Every time a new fast food looking place is being built near us I always tell my wife I hope it’s either a Jack in the Box or a Fatburger…looks like I may get my wish!
I love jack in the box and the owner went to my church in San Diego. I grew up on monster tacos and called jack in the box abodes at the age of 2 so I would definitely go out of my way to visit.
As a refugee from southern California I have also missed Jack-in-the-Box. Remember 2 tacos for 99cents? Anyway, great news. Now if they would only add an El Pollo Loco and ShareTea!
