Get ready to make a NEW Starbucks order!
We’ve recently shared how Starbucks has introduced a new coffee infused with olive oil, details about Starbucks’ nationwide delivery, and we even grabbed a pistachio Starbucks drink in early January. But now we have 2 NEW things to share!
We grabbed these drinks at Creature Comforts, the Starbucks spot in Animal Kingdom, but be sure to check the locations in the other parks as well.
First up, we grabbed the NEW Cinnamon Caramel Cream Nitro Cold Brew. This became available at Starbucks on March 7th. According to a Starbucks press release, the coffee is meant to offer “flavors of cinnamon and caramel that are swirled into Starbucks Nitro Cold Brew then topped with cinnamon sweet cream cold foam and a dusting of cinnamon dolce topping.”
While Starbucks welcomed the spring season with this drink, it’ll actually be on the Starbucks menu year-round. We grabbed a tall version of this drink for $4.99 to see what it was all about!
If you love cinnamon and sugar, this is THE drink for you. The cold foam was thick and creamy — like a delicious whipped cream but denser.
Plus, the cinnamon dolce topping added a nice touch in terms of flavor, and the coffee itself was so smooth.
Overall, if you love cinnamon, sugar, caramel, and whipped cream, give this drink a try! Just note that the cold foam is very thick, so that texture could throw you off.
Another drink we grabbed is the Starbucks Pink Drink topped with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam. We got a tall size of this drink for $4.99. Now, to be clear, the Pink Drink itself is NOT new — that’s been a cult favorite for many years. And even topping a Pink Drink with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam isn’t technically new. People have been customizing their drinks to create this combo for a long time.
In 2022 Starbucks actually featured a Summer Menu Remix that featured this exact combination. At that time, however, they noted that you could add cold foam to your drinks by selecting the drink you wanted, clicking “customize,” and then clicking “add cold foam” in the Toppings category (when ordering through the app), so again it was generally a special customization.
So, while this combo is not a truly new drink, we wanted to grab it to show you that the drink combo now appears to be listed on Disney’s menu boards. No need to ask to “customize” your drink with the cold foam. The Pink Drink, Paradise Drink, and Dragon Drink are all listed as options on the menu WITH the vanilla sweet cream cold foam.
According to one Cast Member, these appeared a few days ago, but again, note that they are essentially a new-ish take on an old drink combo (with the customization now basically included as part of the drink option itself).
The Pink Drink is a strawberry açaí refresher with hints of passion fruit and a topping of vanilla cream cold foam. The drink itself was very sweet, fruity, and tangy, with a lovely combination of those strawberry, acai, and passion fruit flavors.
There are little bits of actual strawberry in it too, which added an extra burst of flavor and a nice texture change. The cold foam on top of this one (vanilla sweet cream) was also DELICIOUS and it paired fantastically with the sweetness and tanginess of the pink drink itself.
Our reporter who tried it felt like the combo was great, but noted that it is pretty sweet, so it might not be for everyone.
Overall, if you love fruity drinks and whipped cream, give this a try! But be prepared for how sweet it is, and note that you can taste the acai and passion fruit too (in case those are flavors you don’t enjoy).
