We’re gearing up for some big changes soon in Disney World!
We’ve got the grand opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run on April 4th, but before that happens, two major fireworks shows are ending their run at Disney World — Harmonious and Disney Enchantment. Disney Enchantment is being replaced by its predecessor, Happily Ever After, and it looks like Disney is getting ready for the return of the show.
Disney announced on the “Walt Disney World Cast and Community” Facebook page that they would be testing fireworks at Magic Kingdom from 11PM-2AM on the evening of Thursday, March 9th. They said, “We apologize to our neighbors and guests for this late-night inconvenience.”
With Happily Ever After returning on April 3rd, Disney has less than a month to get prepared for the show. And when it returns, it will be an updated version, including new projections on Main Street, U.S.A. (Disney Enchantment was the first show to have those projections in Disney World.)
We’ll be on the lookout for any big news from tonight, so stay tuned to DFB. We’ll be there to cover the end of Enchantment and the return of Happily Ever After as well, and we can’t wait to share!
