We’ve been really feeling the roaring 20s and art deco vibes Disney has been bringing back with their 100th Anniversary items. You can also step into the world of the 20s at The Edison in Disney Springs!
The Edison was inspired by the original place of the same name in Los Angeles. It’s an “Industrial Gothic”-style restaurant, bar, and nighttime destination themed to a 1920s-period power plant, and we just received word that they’re expanding their menu!
The Edison is known not only for their exquisite interior but also for their classic American food and craft cocktails that change frequently. We learned that they are bringing some new dishes to the menu, including both savory and sweet options. Let’s take a look!
The Prodigious Pretzel is an impressively large, sharable pretzel topped with coarse sea salt and comes served with their signature beer cheese sauce and Dijon mustard. Grab it for yourself or share it for $15.
The all-new Prohibition Chili is created with Impossible beef made from plants and includes black beans, pinto beans, onions, and white cheddar. Try it out for $15!
You can also try out this chili on their plant-based portobello mushroom burger. The Prohibition Chili Burger is topped with Impossible chili, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and vegan cheese on a kaiser roll, served with fries for $25.
Their High-Voltage Chicken Sandwich is a juicy yet crispy fried chicken breast with sweet and spicy Korean gochujang sauce topped with jalapeño lime crema, frisée, tomato, and pickles on a kaiser roll. It comes served with fries for $24.
Craving some steak? The Edison Flat Iron Steak is a tender marbled Certified Angus Beef (CAB) with a garlic-herb salt rub. Paired with blistered tomatoes, caramelized onions, and truffle potato wedges you’ll be satisfied with this $38 meal.
Ready for dessert? The Bright Lemon Deep-Dish Meringue Pie starts off with a base of graham cracker crust and is topped with vanilla meringue and blueberry compote. Add this to your meal for $18.
For something a bit richer, try out the Lights-On Dulce De Leche Cheesecake. It’s served with whipped cream, crunchy caramel pearls, and caramel sauce for $18.
The In-The-Dark Ultimate Chocolate Layer Cake is the last word in decadence. Chocolate mousse, crunchy ganache, and a salted chocolate sauce come together to create this delicacy for $18.
Head on over to Disney Springs to visit The Edison and order one of their newest additions!
