Get ready to say, “surf’s up” once again!
As Disney’s Blizzard Beach closes for another refurbishment, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park has officially reopened and we’re giving you a first look at reopening day!
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon has been closed for refurbishment since November of 2022 and it has now finally reopened! It was originally supposed to reopen on March 19th, but that date was pushed back a couple of days.
Typhoon Lagoon is one of only two water parks at Walt Disney World. The second water park, Disney’s Blizzard Beach, has gone down again for a refurbishment starting today on the reopening day of Typhoon Lagoon. If you’re looking for a great place to splash and play all day, here’s a look at how much a day’s admission will cost you!
As you can see above a one-day ticket with no block-out dates is $69 for adults and $63 for kids ages 3-9. Be sure to ask about special rates for Florida residents and Annual Passholders! Get ready to surf the waves once again in the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, splash around in Ketchakiddee Creek, and tame the adventure of Miss Adventure Falls.

A look at the entrance doesn’t seem too busy just yet, but it has been a bit chilly this morning. We’ll probably see more crowds arrive as it warms up this afternoon and in the coming weeks.
This makes the early morning openings a great opportunity to go ahead and grab your beach chair for the day! There are lockers available too if you prefer to store your bags there instead.
But the rides and sun aren’t the only fun you should anticipate, there’s more food now too! Mini donuts are the breakfast of beach-going champions, right? We picked these up at the “Mini Donuts but Joffrey’s Coffee” stand.
Our first Shakin’ Jamaican from Joffrey’s was a nice way to cool off as the sun is continuing to heat up the beach! Although it’s also Joffrey’s coffee, we picked this one up at a different Joffery’s stand inside the park — did you know Typhoon Lagoon has multiple Joffrey’s stands? Also note this is the same Joffrey’s Shakin’ Jamaican you can pick up at most of the stands around the other Walt Disney World parks.
While a few familiar items are back for another splash like the Hei Hei Cone…

We picked another new ice cream offering, the Moana Cone in the same spot at Typhoon Tilly’s!

We haven’t seen the Moana Cone since last year’s after-hours events at H20 Glow Nights! The Hei Hei Cone and Moana Cone each cost $5.99 and it was great to see them both return as treat offerings.
Typhoon Tilly’s also debuted a BRAND NEW “kooler”!

For a new alcoholic treat, we barely could taste the alcohol in it and found it super sweet yet very refreshing! If you’re looking to pick this one up it’s priced at $15.50.
We’re so excited to have a great place to cool off again at Walt Disney World and enjoy a little bit of H2O while we’re at it. We’ll be updating this post throughout reopening day, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest!
