Disney World is going through a bit of a phase right now.
You might have noticed that things are changing. From rides to restaurants to resorts, chances are the parks don’t look the same way they did on your last visit. We recently spotted a new park map in Animal Kingdom, and now it looks like another map has had a bit of a makeover!
The Hollywood Studios park map has gotten an update! We saw the new maps on a recent trip and wanted to see what all had changed. Disney is likely replacing all the park maps to remove any 50th anniversary language, events, snacks, and more. Here’s a look at the front of the old park map…
…and here’s the new one!
From what we can tell, it looks like all of the 50th-anniversary offerings have been removed, including any mentions of the Beacons of Magic show and other things like snacks.
We also noticed a pretty big shoutout to the NEW Roundup Rodeo BBQ restaurant in Toy Story Land!
As far as we can tell, the actual map itself doesn’t appear to have changed all that much, but the 50th logo has been removed from the map compass like it was on the new Animal Kingdom map.
You’ll still find plenty of important details and information listed — like showtimes, attractions, restaurants, where to find the bathroom, First Aid, Guest Relations, and more. The Park Rules are also prominently displayed on the back of the map, reminding people just in case!
There are also tips on using Mobile Order, Walkup Waitlists, and even Mobile Checkout listed if you need to know any of that information. Of course, you can find all this info and then some in the My Disney Experience app, but sometimes there’s just something about grabbing an old-school park map to commemorate a trip.
We’ll be on the hunt for more park map changes around Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest!
