IT’S HERE! The day is finally here!
We’ve been waiting for the opening day of Roundup Rodeo BBQ for what feels like forever. We hope you’ve got your reservations because this restaurant officially opens TODAY!
We walked by the restaurant in Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios to check it out!
People were already checking in for lunch when we arrived. A Cast Member was on hand with a menu, too!
It’s exciting to see a new restaurant opening up!

We were fortunate enough to get a look at this new restaurant early, but we’re so excited it’s finally open to the public. We gave you a look at the atmosphere, the food, and what the prices are like.

However, you’ll want to get the full experience yourself by dining inside and seeing all the fun sights! We’ve got all the prices listed right here, and you can check out the menu ahead of time as well.
We headed inside to have lunch for ourselves! So, howdy, partners!
Lunch was pretty busy — everyone is checking out this new dining spot!
Here’s a closer peek at the menu. The food here is all comfort backyard BBQ fare, complete with sides and fun desserts.
Let’s talk about details. The plates are REAL glass or china plates, but they’re designed to look like paper plates! Cool, right?
Our water was served in an old-fashioned Coca-Cola glass.
We also ordered some specialty non-alcoholic drinks. Molly’s Frozen Iced Tea is Frosty blend of Iced Tea and Citrus flavors.
The Frozen Cowpoke Cocoa is Frozen Cocoa and Minute Maid Vanilla Smoothie topped with Mini Marshmallows.
The Partysaurus Rex is Minute Maid Premium Lemonade and Strawberry Puree, garnished with Gummy Candy.
Let’s eat! For starters, you get the The Prospector’s Homemade Cheddar Biscuits with Sweet Pepper Jelly. We absolutely LOVE that sweet pepper jelly. We also g0t salad, including Wheezy’s Watermelon Salad and Rex’s Romaine and Kale Salad. This salad has Apples, Dried Cranberries, Pumpkin Seeds, and Green Goddess Dressing. Finally, we got the Rootin’ Tootin Tomato Salad, made with Cucumbers, Pickled Red Onion, and White Balsamic Vinaigrette.
Bring on the appetizers! 🍽️

Entrees include a platter of House-Smoked items, including Evil Dr. Smoked Ribs, Buttercup’s Beef Brisket, There’s a Sausage in my Boot – Fire-grilled Pork Sausage, and BBQ Chicken – with Style.
You can also get a Plant-Based option called Trixie’s Plant-based Trio, which includes Combat Cauliflower with Harissa Drizzle and Walnut Gremolata, Scrumptious Bratwurst, and Rip Roarin’ Rib Chop.
Now let’s talk about sides because there’s a TON of them. You can get Veggie Slaw…
…Campfire-roasted Vegetables…
…Buckin’ Baked Beans…
…The Married Spuds (loaded potato barrels)…
…Force Field Fried Pickles…
…Slinky Doooooooooog’s Mac & Cheese…
…and Cowpoke Corn on the Cob…
Y’all. This is a LOT of food!
Desserts came out after all that (we are SO full, y’all, but we have to keep going — for science!). First up is the Cupcake à la Forky — it’s a cupcake with Gooey Chocolate Cake, Graham Cracker, Buttercream, Sugar Cookie. AND IT IS NOT TRASH.
Then there’s Bo’s Lemon and Blueberry Cheesecake…
…Gruff’s Peach Strawberry Pie…
…Goat’s Apple Pie…
…and Billy’s Chocolate Silk Pie. Do you sense a theme here? Yes, these are all named after Bo’s sheep!
You’ll also want to know about this FUN detail that’s finally become a reality in Disney World — “Andy’s coming” is TOTALLY a thing now! So if you’re dining here, be ready to freeze on the spot so Andy doesn’t see his toys moving.
ANDY’S COMING!!! 😱

Finally, when we got ready to pay, we were given a GIANT PENCIL to sign our bill with. Okay, WE LOVE THIS.

Yes!

This is great. I can’t wait to try it out
Mama Slic says
Save your money! Not worth the $$$. Unfortunately, our server was rude. Biscuits were very good, the rest of the meal was basic, and the dessert was a disappointment. “all you can eat” if you get a good server. Won’t go back. I spent the same at Steakhouse 71 and the food was 100% better!
