Put your game face on — it’s spring break season in Disney World!
If you’re heading to Disney World soon, beware! The spring break crowds have arrived and they are not easy to handle. We’ve seen Genie+ hit its highest price recently and the price for the skip-the-line service is based on demand. So what are the wait times like in Disney World right now?
Today, we’re taking you through the average wait times in Disney World from the past week so that you can determine a game plan when you visit the parks. This can help you decide if Genie+ is a must for your group, or if you want to save money and use other strategies like rope dropping!
If you do want to buy Genie+, be sure to budget for the skip-the-line service. The price has fluctuated between $15 and $29, however on busier weeks and weekends you should expect the higher price tag. Also, remember that the price is per person, so take that into consideration when budgeting and making decisions about your park day.
We noticed that 10 rides had an average wait time over 60 minutes this week — these are the rides to watch our for and plan ahead for! Without further ado, let’s see what the wait times were like this week in Disney World!

And last but not least, let’s talk about Animal Kingdom! Avatar Flight of Passage still had the longest average wait time this park this week with 91 minutes. This means the time also went down significantly from last week’s 129-minute average.
Following that, Na’vi River Journey at 68 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 37 minutes, Expedition Everest at 29 minutes, DINOSAUR at 21 minutes, and Kali River Rapids at 19 minutes.
It’s Tough to Be a Bug averaged 10 minutes and Triceratop Spin averaged 8 minutes. Both The Boneyard and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail averaged no wait time.
The Cool Feature You Never Knew About at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Genie+ could come in handy especially during spring break season in Disney World. The crowds are no joke! However, this is another expense that can add up really fast depending on how many people are in your group. We also recommend rope dropping (arriving at the park before it opens to get ahead of the crowds) or staying until the park closes to get the shortest waits without Genie+. Reminder — Genie+ has sold out recently and it could sell out on your trip, too!
