We’ve got BIG Disney movie news for you all!
We know that a third Frozen film is on the way and the composers have commented on their excitement for the film, and the new live-action The Little Mermaid is coming later this year. You may have missed the announcement about a live-action Lilo & Stitch on its way, but we have big news — Disney has found their Lilo!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney has cast newcomer Maia Kealoha as Lilo in the live-action Lilo & Stitch film!
Dean Fleischer Camp is directing the film, and Zach Galifianakis joined the cast back in February.
Disney declined to comment on this announcement, but it is confirmed that this is the official casting. We can’t wait to hear more casting news about this film, which according to IMDb, is set to release in 2024. Stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney film news!

Enough with the “Live Action” remakes! Lilo & Stitch was a great cartoon. There is no way this remake will be any better. Enough with the “money grubbing” antics.
Kathy says
Wish Disney would come up with more new stories instead of re-doing the old ones.
Jess says
It’s sad that Disney has no creativity anymore! We used to get such great movies! Now all we get are subpar remakes of already great movies.

Please do not support these live action remakes. As long as people keep buying tickets they will keep making them. Disney needs to come up with some fresh new ideas, not tired retreads.
