Many of us dream of creating magic by being a Disney Cast Member.
For college students, making magic while gaining professional experience is most often done through the Disney College Program (DCP) — a competitive internship experience that allows college students and recent graduates to work at Disney World while getting class credits and gaining professional experience through networking opportunities, special events, and access to Disney leadership. Now, Disney has announced that DCP participants will be getting pay raises!
If you’re considering the Disney College Program (DCP), or if you’re a current DCP participant, Disney announced IMPORTANT news today. The hourly wage for DCP participants will be raised from $14 to $16 starting on June 6th.
This pay raise follows a rent increase at Flamingo Crossings Village, the resort-style apartment complex provided to program participants by Disney and American Campus Communities. Flamingo Crossings Village informed DCP participants of rent increases last December.
Disney is also raising the hourly wage for part-and full-time Cast Members at Disney World, following Cast Member Union contract negotiations.
