There are very few places that do holidays bigger and better than Disney World!
The parks go all-out for major festivities like Christmas, Halloween, and New Year’s Eve, and people flock from all over the world to check out the celebration. But they also celebrate smaller holidays in Disney World as well! And one BIG occasion is coming up soon for Star Wars fans.
If you’re a fan of Star Wars books, movies, or TV series, then you probably know that May 4th is known as Star Wars Day. (Why May 4th? Because “May the fourth be with you” of course!) And typically, Disney World likes to do a little something special for this holiday each year. We’ve seen snacks, merchandise, and character appearances in the past. So how do you catch the celebrations?
Most often, these special offerings happen at Disney’s Hollywood Studios because that park is home to multiple Star Wars attractions. But if you’re hoping to visit Hollywood Studios this year on May 4th, you may run into some difficulties.
Currently, Disney Park Passes are sold out for Hollywood Studios for Annual Passholders, including all pass types. They’re still available at the time of publishing for ticket holders and resort guests.
But keep in mind that starting April 18th, Annual Passholders can visit theme parks after 2PM without a park reservation, except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom. So if you want to get into Hollywood Studios that day, you’re just welcome to arrive in the afternoon.
We’ll keep you updated with more Disney Park Pass news and any other information from the theme parks that you need to know. Stay tuned to DFB for the latest!
