Even though it’s still several months away, it’s not too early to start planning for your fall visit to Disney World!
You’ll want to book your hotel before the rooms fill up and make those Disney Park Pass reservations in advance. And coming soon, we expect Disney to start making announcements about the Halloween festivities. If you’re wondering what will be offered this year…we have a little guess thanks to a job posting online!
One of the biggest celebrations that happens each year at Magic Kingdom is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Disney hasn’t yet confirmed its return for 2023, but we now at least know that Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade will be coming back!
Recently, an audition opportunity was posted on the Disney Auditions website searching for Flag Corps performers for Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. Online submissions are being accepted through April 9th and the job listing states that the performers must have weekly availability from June 1st-November 1st, 2023. (Likely for rehearsals and then performances throughout the season.)
There’s a section of the parade where performers dressed as pirates spin flags, so it’s possible that the posting is for that role specifically.
The audition doesn’t specifically mention Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but this parade has been a traditional part of the offerings at the party. We’ll be on the lookout for confirmation of MNSSHP returning this year!
