Happy Easter to all who celebrate!
You can meet Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny in Magic Kingdom, check out some of the awesome decorations around the resorts, and even go on an Easter egg hunt! But that’s not all — there’s a special parade you can watch this weekend, and we got a front-row seat.
You can only see this parade on Easter weekend every year in Disney World. It’s quite popular, so you’ll want to grab your seats early!
The pre-parade music is also a lot of fun. This Easter parade happens right before each Festival of Fantasy Parade performance so it’s a 2-in-1 deal!

We grabbed a great seat to watch it happen, and took ALL the photos to take you with us! This parade is SO colorful, with lots of pinks and blues and other pretty pastel colors.
Yes, we saw pink hippos!
The Easter Parade dancers are dressed up in their Easter finest.
Of course, the MAIN attraction of this parade is Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny!

This is the only time of year you’ll get to see them!
We also watched some flowers and butterflies dance.
The White Rabbit even put in an appearance — this is one important date he WASN’T late for.
Dancing chicks? Yep, this parade has got ’em.
Also, we had a LOAD of pastel-colored confetti thrown on us because this IS a party.
After this weekend, you won’t be able to see this parade again until next year! But the Festival of Fantasy Parade happens in Magic Kingdom every day, so if you’re looking for magical Disney parades, you won’t have to go without them on your trip (unless there’s a mechanical issue or bad weather).

We didn’t go this year, but we have usually gone for this parade in past years – it is charming, especially with all the characters you never see anywhere else. Does anyone else remember those hippo ballerinas from the long-gone Mickey’s Night before Christmas? We really miss the Azalea Trail Maids from Mobile, Alabama, who used to be a major part of the Easter Parade. Glad to know the parade is still going.
