Welcome back to Magic Kingdom, DFB readers!
It’s April, which means spring is here and a lot is happening in the Disney parks. It’s our job to keep you updated on all the latest news when it happens, so let’s recap what’s happened in Magic Kingdom in the past week!
Magic Kingdom General Updates
Easter was celebrated in the parks this past Sunday, which meant we saw some heavy crowds on a rainy day, as well as the rare Magic Kingdom Easter parade!
You can only see this parade one weekend every year, so we made sure we got a good spot.
Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
Construction continues to move along over at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!
We noticed tarps in the queue line, as well as some wooden beams ready to go.
A crane is also high above the construction hard at work…
…as are the construction workers on top of the scaffolding!
We’re excited to see this ride continue to transform.
Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Main Street Confectionery
Over at the Confectionary, the Pastel Rainbow Spring Popcorn is back for the season and will be available until it sells out.
We also found a new TRON Apple for $12.99…
…and a TRON Cereal Treat for $6.49.
We spotted these on the opening day of the ride!
Storybook Treats
Over at Storybook Treats, the Seven Dwarfs Cones have been removed from the menu.
These were introduced for the 50th Anniversary, but we frequently had issues getting them, as many times certain flavors were out of stock.
Friar’s Nook
We spotted a new Strawberry Lemonade Slushy for $6.29!
Sounds like it would be refreshing on a hot day. We’ve seen similar items in the parks before!
Tomorrowland Area
We spotted a temporary Frozen treat stand near the Carousel of Progress in Tomorrowland.
When we inquired with a Cast Member, we were told that it was put up due to heavy crowds.
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates
The Emporium
We spotted a Kakamora Moana Magicband+ for $44.99.
There’s also a new Chip Falafel Pita Pocket with Tzatziki Sauce Munchling for $34.99…
…a Dale Falafel Pita Pocket with Garlic Sauce Munchling for $34.99…
…a Squirt Sandwich Muchling for $34.99…
…and a Street Food Truck Mystery Box Munchling for $34.99!
We also found a Marvel Comics MB+ for $44.99…
