Welcome back to EPCOT, everyone!
We’ve just begun to get tons of EPCOT Food & Wine Festival news, like the dates of the festival and what booths will be returning, and we know that the Eat To The Beat Concert series will also be returning. But there’s tons of other news from EPCOT this past week, so let’s review!
EPCOT Construction Updates
EPCOT construction is still going strong throughout the whole park!
Over at Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana, finishing touches are being made inside the attraction. Remember that this spot will open this coming fall.
Most of the construction seems to have moved over to the opposite side of the new walkway, where several machines can be seen working.
Communicore Hall is also still coming along! This new festival area isn’t expected to open until late 2023, so it likely won’t be ready in time for the start of the Food & Wine Festival.
We also noticed that one of the Harmonious barges is officially gone! As Harmonious has ended its run in this park, all of the barges will be removed from the lagoon.
We’ve seen several workers out on the water to remove the others as well, so we expect they’ll be gone in the coming weeks.
EPCOT still has a long way to go for its full transformation, but progress is definitely happening!
EPCOT Food Updates
The Springtime Menu became available at the Farmers Feast booth at EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival on April 9th. You can now grab the Grilled Vegetable Bruschetta for $5…

We also noticed that the soda machines at Club Cool were once again down to only TWO flavors this week — yikes! (At least they’re not just serving Beverly, like they were a while ago.)
It seems Club Cool has had some trouble keeping flavors in stock recently, but we hope to see them return soon.

EPCOT General Updates
This is a bonus! The Medieval Diorama at this location is being restored piece by piece over MANY years. Currently, the man spinning the hoop is missing, and this animatronic display has been sitting in the dark, unmoving for years.
Around a year ago, the lights were turned on, and back in November, some movement was finally restored. Now, they are painting the figures and replacing some fabric and rhinestone elements.
And that’s everything new over in EPCOT! As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest news.
See what breakfast is returning to an EPCOT restaurant SOON!

Lorraine Marie Pollachek says
I cannot possibly come to WDW at any time in the foreseeable future. How can I get those Orange Bird containers? Which store in which park is selling them? Are they available in Disney Springs? Can anyone provide this info? I would be forever grateful.
