When it comes to iconic Disney World snacks, there are probably several that come to mind.
Mickey Premium Bar
We’re talking about those classics like the Dole Whip, Mickey pretzel, Mickey waffle, and, yes, even the Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar — how can you resist that vanilla ice cream coated with chocolate and shaped to look like Mickey?. However, if you get a Mickey Bar in Disney World now, you might notice that they’ve changed.
We decided today was a good day for a Mickey bar, so we picked one up in EPCOT. And lo and behold, its packaging had changed. Now, previously we saw Mickey bars in 50th anniversary wrappers…

Now, though, they’ve been given a brand new look, and now, the wrappers are ALL about the 100th anniversary. They even feature Mickey on them in his 100th anniversary outfit. Looking sharp, Mickey bar!

But don’t worry — inside is still the same Mickey bar you know and love.

You’ll be able to find these throughout Disney World — but we’ll have to check and see if these new wrappers are available in our grocery stores since we can pick up Mickey bars there, too! We’ll be sure to give you a heads-up if we see them! Because if you can’t make it to Disney World, you can still PRETEND you’re there by closing your eyes and enjoying a Mickey bar at home.

We’ve been seeing a lot more of the 100th anniversary in Disney World recently now that the 50th is over. We’ve learned that the Celebration will happen mostly in EPCOT, so we can’t wait to see what 100th thing turns up next!

Bite for a headline. I really don’t care how they wrap these great ice cream bars. Just don’t change them.
Darn, I was hoping they’d actually changed. A smaller, less expensive, cuter, tastier, special and less messy Mickey ice-cream bar would be great.
When we were down there in March they had begun transitioning away. A lady was getting mad becsuse she paid the same price for 2 bars in different wrappers and didnt understand it was the same product.
Except, she said one was smaller.
So… that’s interesting.
