Ever wanted a more tropical twist on your Halloween celebrations?
You can celebrate Halloween in Disney World with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, or head to Disneyland for the Oogie Boogie Bash. But there’s also a spooky celebration happening on Disney Cruise Line, and we just got more information about this year’s event!
Halloween on the High Seas is returning in 2023, on cruises sailing between mid-September and Halloween.
This event transforms your Disney cruise into a spooky voyage, with special Halloween decorations throughout the ship and themed music during your sailing.
When we went to the event in 2022, we also took part in the Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party (a costume party complete with trick-or-treat trails) and watched a show about the Headless Horseman.
Other activities included Halloween Isn’t Just For Kids, where adults could experience costume contests and a Villainous Takeover on the dance floor of adult-exclusive venues. There were similar activities in areas for kids, and Halloween movies were shown at the theaters.
We met unique characters like Jack Skellington, and Daisy, Minnie, and Clarabelle came dressed as the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus!
We’ll watch for more updates about the 2023 Halloween events, so stay tuned to DFB for all the latest news.
