PHOTO: NEW Halloween Look Revealed for Mickey and Minnie Mouse

It’s that time of year again!

Yep — it’s Halfway to Halloween already, and Disney is celebrating with all sorts of announcements and exciting additions to the parks. Not only did we get some exciting news about Halloween events happening later this year, but we learned that some of our favorite characters are getting a NEW look!

We’re ready for Halloween in Disney World, but we’ll settle for being Halfway to Halloween for now. Disney just shared a ton of juicy news about what we can expect from the spooky season in the parks, and we got a sneak peek at NEW costumes two of our favorite characters will be wearing!

That’s right — Mickey and Minnie will have NEW Halloween costumes this year! From the photo that Disney released, it looks like these costumes will debut in Disneyland.

The new costumes have classic Halloween colors and look to be all about bats!

Disney’s announcement states, “This year, they’ll don luminescent sheer fabrics that will give a ghostly glow to their festive new ensembles at Disneyland park. Be on the lookout for lots of cobwebs and details like bat bowties and spider-shaped bells!”

We can’t wait to see these two in person in their new duds, and you know we’ll be at the very first night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (here’s hoping the costumes come to both Disney World AND Disnseyland) — so stay tuned to DFB for more!
