If you’ve stayed at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn recently, you may have noticed that a LOT of construction is going on.

There’s a new restaurant in the works, the guest rooms have undergone some refurbishment, and the lobby bathroom has been under construction for a strangely LONG time. Even the Concierge Lounge is currently closed. Unfortunately, this isn’t the end of the list of closures for this resort at the moment. We just found out that a popular restaurant option in the area will soon be closing for refurbishment as well.

Trattoria al Forno, a restaurant on the BoardWalk where you can find really good Italian food, will soon be closing its doors temporarily.

From June 11th to June 17th, 2023, this spot will be closed.

The restaurant has shared that they will offer a limited breakfast during this time, but guests who book a morning meal will be dining in the Flying Fish dining room while refurbishment happens at Trattoria. As of right now, we are still seeing times listed for the Pizza Window, so you might still be able to grab a slice for lunch in the meantime. But, we will keep you updated as we learn more.
