McDonald’s has been serving up some interesting changes lately.
From introducing new recipes and Happy Meal toys to getting us to slide into their DMs for some Big Mac sauce news, McDonald’s sure knows how to market to its customers. Now, the company has quietly introduced a new item to the menu, and it already has people talking.
According to The Street, you can now get a serving of nostalgia with the new Frozen Hawaiian Punch at participating McDonald’s locations.
McDonald’s boasts that this drink is “bursting with over eight bold, tropical fruit flavors.” In terms of nutrition, a medium Frozen Hawaiian Punch has 70 calories.
This new frozen beverage could be a way for the company to gain some more business in between typical meal times, by taking a page out of Taco Bell’s book. The popular frozen drinks at Taco Bell, like Mountain Dew’s Baja Blast, not only work as a meal add-on but also as a snack in their own right. So what do you think? Will you be hitting up McDonald’s to try one of these new drinks?

I love HAWAIIAN PUNCH but not w/the sucralose. It has a slight after taste. At the same time the sucralose (hence why it is 70 calories) makes me sick and nauseous. I can’t be the only one that notices the after taste and the side effect of sucralose /or sweetener…
Lorraine Marie Pollachek says
No one is ever the only one who notices these things. My son won’t even touch the stuff, so you are not alone. On the other hand, and fortunately, I don’t taste anything enough to be bothered by it. I say fortunately because I am diabetic and do not have the luxury of choosing sugar sweetened foods and beverages.
