Disney World is gearing up for another busy holiday and you may be, too!
Disney holidays are no strangers to crowds as we’ve seen them with all the major holidays, spring break season, and even some of the minor holidays that you may not consider. This is your friendly reminder that if your trip is falling on the 4th of July, you’ll need to be up extra early tomorrow!
One of Disney World’s most popular holidays for visitors is the 4th of July. This could be due to the fact that it falls during the summer months when kids are out of school on summer break and families tend to travel more. If you’ve got a summer trip planned and your vacation starts on July 4th, you’ll want to make sure you are up early tomorrow to make your dining reservations!
You can make dining reservations 60 days in advance at Disney World for their table service restaurants and select experiences. We wanted to give a friendly reminder that the dining reservations will open online as early as 6AM ET tomorrow morning (we’ve seen them open a few minutes earlier in some cases so be watchful).
This will also include reservations for recreation like golf cart rentals and fireworks cruises, VIP tours, dessert parties, and enchanting extras like reservations for Harmony Barbor Shop, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Savi’s Workshop, and Droid Depot building.
You’ll also want to remember that these reservations will be on a rolling window so if other people are checking in a day or so ahead of you, they may have already had access to the reservation booking window during your dates. Our best advice to you is to go for the reservations that tend to fill up first and are very popular like ‘Ohana, Hoop Dee Doo Review, and Topolino’s Terrace to name a few. Then once you’ve secured those continue to work on the remaining reservations for the rest of your visit.
It’s also helpful to keep in mind that lots of people will be online attempting to snag their reservations, and the Disney website is known for its challenges from time to time. If the website isn’t working at first, keep checking back until it’s loaded and you’re able to continue with making your reservations.
