Have you ever set sail on Disney Cruise Line?
Disney Cruises are unlike any other and include a lot of fun interactive experiences, entertainment, and dining all themed to Disney characters and movies. Well, now, TWO more Disney movies are making their way to one Disney Cruise Line ship, the Disney Magic!
First up, an Encanto interactive experience is coming to Disney Cruise Line. An Encanto Celebration is “designed to engage families through music, crafts and storytelling.” Cruisers will get to meet Mirabel AND Bruno, as well as join in on an Encanto sing-along. Plus there will be butterfly and flower crafts inspired by the movie. There will even be a selection of local Colombian beers, cocktails, mocktails, and sodas.
But that’s not all, a new Soul lounge is coming to the Disney cruise ship. It’s called the Soul Cat Lounge and it’s designed to look like the Half Note Lounge from the movie. The space “instantly transports guests to a classic New York jazz club appointed with decorative details like brick walls, wood accents and plenty of rich leather seating around a stage set for live music, so guests can grab their partner and head to the dance floor for a swinging good time each evening.”
You’ll find custom artwork from Pixar in the lounge, including portraits of Dorothea Williams and her band. Other Soul-inspired details include record players, instruments, and even Joe’s hat. Beverages will include brews and cocktails made with New York spirits and will also include mocktails, specialty coffees, and sodas. PLUS there will be food, including a menu that includes zeppoles, which is a fried Italian doughnut. You can enjoy all that while listening to LIVE music.
Finally, the Disney Magic has recently enhanced its concierge lounge “to feature a sophisticated new theme and tropical color palate inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Moana and an additional outdoor covered seating area on deck 10 where guests can relax with a refreshing beverage while enjoying the ocean breeze.” All concierge suites have also been refurbished “with fresh fixtures, furniture and elegant artwork, further elevating the premium experience for concierge guests.”
The Disney Magic is currently sailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Still, it will return to Miami for summer cruises to The Bahamas and the Caribbean, including the Silver Anniversary at Sea celebration to celebrate Disney Cruise Line’s 25th anniversary. In the fall, the Disney Magic will start sailing out of San Diego.
