Sometimes, not-so-magical things happen in Disney World.
Weather can cause rides to close temporarily, technical issues can arise on attractions, and even shows occasionally get changed for safety reasons. Sometimes rides also go down while people are on them, which is exactly what happened today in Magic Kingdom.
When a ride goes down with people on it, Disney Cast Members will help evacuate riders from that attraction. This happened today on Liberty Square Riverboat. The boat was, apparently, having issues that meant they had to get visitors off of it, and that’s exactly what they did. Visitors were being transferred to a Tom Sawyer Island raft.

So what should you do if you’re on a ride in Disney World and it’s being evacuated? Well, the first thing you should do is pay attention to the Cast Members. They will be there to direct you on what to do and where to go. Listen to the Cast Members carefully and follow their directions. You’ll also need to be patient: sometimes it takes a while to get everyone off a ride.
If you’re looking to get back on that ride later, you’ll need to keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app to see when it reopens.
Just remember that these things sometimes happen, and although it might feel a little frustrating, don’t forget where you are — you’re in Disney World! Be patient and follow Cast Member instructions. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney World updates.

My daughter and I were evacuated from Test Track. So cool to see the inside part with the lights on. Cast Members were wonderful.

Every time I read about Disney World a ride or another is down. Disney must not be reinvesting to keep rides going. A lot of comments are about the run down conditions at the park. The costs to go and enjoy have tripled or more. The only conclusion Is much of the profits are being used to pay lawyers and court costs with DeSantis . Disney advise from a fan. Get out of Florida. You have had invites from other states.

We were evacuated off of Spaceship Earth one time. Of course we were at the top when this happened so we had a lot of steps to go down. It was way better than having to climb up. Lol

I was evacuated off of what was splash mountain after the big drop. It was, unfortunately, very uncomfortable as you could imagine. We sat there for 30 minutes before I called guest services and told them that I needed to get off of the ride due to a bad hip I have. Then finally, maybe five minutes after that call, we were evacuated.
