We got a lot of HUGE food news in Disney World this week — and yes, that’s our favorite kind of news!
From getting a chance to enjoy some Star Wars-themed snacks to looking forward to new Mother’s Day treats and Guardians of the Galaxy foods, we are SO ready for ALL the food. But we’re also keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus, where we’ve spotted some changes.
Magic Kingdom
Be Our Guest
There are a few changes under Entrees at Be Our Guest:
- Duroc Pork Chop description changed from “Double-smoked Bacon and Sweet Potato Lyonnaise” to “Double-smoked Bacon, Sweet Potato Lyonnaise, and Dijon Mustard Sauce”
- Kids’ Create-Your-Own Selections now offers Mashed Potatoes
The Blue Raspberry Slush decreased from $15 to $12.

EPCOT
Space 220
Space 220 has had some menu updates. Here’s what changed under Lift-Offs/Appetizers:
- ADDED: Seafood Cannelloni “Rockets” – shrimp, scallops, snapper, saffron cream sauce, salmon caviar, chives
- Neptuna Tartare – sushi-grade yellowfin tuna, avocado crema, mango coulis, edamame, wonton crisp, yuzu dressing (previously this dish featured yuzu ginger miso, soy, avocado, radish, apple, and sesame crackers)
- ADDED: Roasted Asparagus Soup – jumbo lump crabmeat, roasted poblano and red peppers, citrus chili oil, crouton
The following changes happened to the Star Course/Entrees:
- ADDED: Tomahawk Pork Chop – slow roasted 16 oz Niman Ranch pork chop, corn flan, succotash, spiced applesauce
- ADDED: Pan Roasted Swordfish “Cioppino” – shrimp, littleneck clams, prince edward island mussels, tomato fennel seafood broth, toasted garlic bread
Here’s what changed with Supernova Sweets (Dessert):
- ADDED: Vanilla Bean Greek Yogurt Parfait – black sesame crumble, yuzu curd, macerated blackberries, basil blackberry sauce
The desserts on the Kid’s Menu have also changed:
- Cosmic Cupcake (Kid’s Menu) – chocolate vegan devil’s food cake topped with vanilla frosting & galactic sprinkles (previously, this item featured “galactic frosting,” but it seems that has now been replaced by vanilla frosting and galactic sprinkles. Plus, the updated item notes that it is “vegan,” while the previous version did not specify that.)
- ADDED: Fruity Pebbles Cereal Rocket Pop (Kid’s Menu) – fruity pebbles, marshmallow, chocolate rocket

Le Cellier
We’ve got one change under Appetizers at Le Cellier: Jumbo Chilled Shrimp increased from $19 to $21.

The Turning Red Cupcake has returned to Pizzafari. It’s made with Vanilla Cake, Mandarin Cream Filling, Honey Mousse Bao Bun, Crispy Pearls, Sweet Magnolia Blossoms, Chocolate Garnish, and Mei Lee Panda on White Chocolate Medallion.
The cupcake is $6.49.

Flame Tree Barbecue
At Flame Tree Barbecue, the Allergy-Friendly version of the Ribs, Chicken, and Pulled Pork Sampler no longer has coleslaw with it. Instead, it has Fruit.
It still comes with Signature Baked Beans, though.

Maya Grill
Maya Grill has seen some changes. Under Starters, the following changed:
- REMOVED: Fiesta Nachos, Empanada de Barbacoa, and Shrimp Mojo
- Chips and Salsa is now Chips and Salsa Trio — Freshly made crispy tortilla chips paired with our three house-made salsas, Salsa Roja, Smokey Chipotle, and Avocado Verde for $12. Add Queso or Guacamole for $4
- Guacamole is now House Guacamole — Our delicious blend of hand-crushed avocado, charred jalapeno, and cucumber salsa, served with crispy tortilla chips for $14
- Southwestern Tortilla Soup is now Chicken Tortilla Soup
- ADDED: Queso Fundido — Flour tortillas served alongside melted Chihuahua and Oaxaca cheese, pico de gallo, and cilantro for $12. Add Chorizo for $3
- ADDED: Chicken Tinga Flautas — Shredded Chicken Tinga in fried corn Tortillas, served with chipotle mayo, Mexican crema, pico de gallo, topped with cotija cheese for $13
- ADDED: Mexican Shrimp Cocktail — Shrimp, arugula, avocado, radish, and cilantro combined with our special in-house Mexican cocktail sauce for $16
- ADDED: Chicken Tortilla Soup — Chipotle chicken, guajillo chicken broth, fresh avocado, and tortilla strips topped with a dollop of sour cream for $12
Under Salads, the following changed:
- Traditional Taco Salad is now Deconstructed Taco Salad — Mixed greens, cilantro dressing, red onions, cherry tomatoes, avocado, cotija cheese, equites and ground beef served with crispy tortilla chips for $24
- Fiesta Salad description changed from “Mixed Green Salad, Red Bell Peppers, Scallions, Queso Fresco, Crispy Tortilla Strips, Pumpkin Seeds, Cilantro Vinaigrette, served in a Toasted Cheese Bowl to “Mix greens, esquites, pico de gallo, cotija cheese, avocado, diced pineapples, crispy corn tortillas lemon oregano dressing”
- Ensalada Caesar description changed from “Romaine Hearts, Crispy Croutons, Parmesan Cheese, Caesar Dressing, Lime Juice” to “Chopped romaine hearts, house croutons, parmesan cheese, classic caesar dressing”
Here’s what changed under Entrees:
- Baja Fish Tacos description changed from “Tempura Battered Cod, Shredded Cabbage, Chipotle Lime Aioli, Pineapple Relish, Lime, Tajin, Flour Tortillas, served with Esquites” to “Beer-battered fish served with tangy pickled cabbage, charred pineapple salsa, and chipotle aioli. Served with a side of Yuca fries and chimichurri” and price increased from $25 to $28
- REMOVED: Sous Vide Short Rib, Beef Quesadilla, Plant-based Chicken Enchiladas, Cochinita Pibil, Chicken Enchiladas, Adobo Half Chicken, Queso Fundido Burger, and Monterey Chicken Sandwich
- Chicken Quesadilla description changed from “Jack Cheese, Poblano, Cilantro, Guacamole, Salsa and Sour Cream, served with Esquites” to “Flour tortilla, Chihuahua and Oaxaca cheeses, refried beans, cilantro, & fresh onions” and price increased from $25 to $26
- ADDED: Chicken Tinga Enchiladas — Rolled in home-made corn tortillas, salsa verde, Oaxaca and Chihuahua cheese, topped with sour cream, Cotija cheese, and crispy onions served with sweet plantains for $30
- ADDED: Birra Lamb Enchiladas — Rolled in home-made corn tortillas, salsa verde, Oaxaca and Chihuahua cheese, topped with sour cream, Cotija cheese, and crispy onions served with sweet plantains for $34
- ADDED: Chille Relleno — Plant-based chorizo, rice, and black beans with roasted tomato salsa roja for $30
- ADDED: Chicken Mole — Roasted Airline Chicken, Oaxaca mole, roasted tricolor cauliflower and sauteed broccolini for $32
- ADDED: Ossobuco Al Pastor — Sous vide Pork Ossobucu Al Pastor, served with chipotle sweet potatoes, sauteed broccolini, topped with pineapple chutney for $38
- ADDED: Fresh Catch — Topped with cilantro crema, roasted marble potatoes, blistered heirloom baby tomatoes, and sauteed broccolini for Market Price
Under Sides, a lot has changed:
- Chipotle Brussels Sprouts is now just Brussels Sprouts
- REMOVED: Roasted Poblano Potatoes Gratin, Spicy Chili Cheese Fries, Esquites, Plantain Rice, and
Seasoned French Fries - ADDED: Cilantro Rice, Sauteed Broccolini, Marble Potatoes, Sweet Chipotle Mash, Refried Beans, and Tri-Color Cauliflower
Here’s what changed under Desserts:
- REMOVED: Mango or Strawberry Sorbet, Fried Baby Churros, Impossible Cake
- ADDED: Fried Churro Ice Cream — Vanilla ice cream coated in churro crunch, resting on a bed of Oreo cookie crumbles, drizzled with chocolate syrup for $12
- ADDED: Pastel de Tres-Leche — Home-made Sweet Sponge Cake soaked with three different milks, topped with merengue for $14
- ADDED: Mexican Mocha Lava Cake — Gooey Abuelita Chocolate Cake, Dulce de Leche ice cream, sprinkled with powdered sugar and cinnamon for $14
- ADDED: Café de Olla — Mexican coffee expertly blended with Abuelita chocolate, complemented by subtle hints of orange and cinnamon for $16. Add Magdalla Orange Liquor for $9 or add Disaronno Amaretto for $12
Under wines, the following changed:
- REMOVED: Vina Maipo Chardonnay, Benvolio Pinot Grigio, Vina Maipo Merlot, Raymond R Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zolo Malbec
- ADDED: Eos Chardonnay for $10 per glass and $40 per bottle
- ADDED: Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio for $10 per glass and $40 per bottle
- ADDED: Eos Merlot for $10 per glass and $45 per bottle
- ADDED: Nieto Malbec for $15 per glass and $53 per bottle
- ADDED: Mexican Sangria for $14

- Pioneer Berry Salad description changed from “Grilled Chicken, Spring Greens, fresh Berries, Blue Cheese, Raspberry Vinaigrette and Pecans” to Grilled Chicken, Spring Greens, Fresh Berries, Blue Cheese, Raspberry-Walnut Vinaigrette, and Candied Pecans”
- Chicken Breast Nuggets description changed from” Served with French Fries” to “Served with choice of French Fries or Cucumber Salad”
- Corn Dog Nuggets description changed from “Served with French Fries” to “Served with choice of French Fries or Cucumber Salad”
- All-Beef Hot Dog description changed from “Served with French Fries” to “Served with choice of French Fries or Cucumber Salad”
- ADDED: Fried Buffalo Chicken Sandwich — Fried Chicken Breast, Bloody Mary-Buffalo Sauce, Blue Cheese, and Lettuce served on a Brioche Bun served with choice of French Fries or Cucumber Salad for $12.29

For breakfast, the Egg and Cheese Bagel Sandwich is now served with Potato Barrels and the price increased from $5.99 to $7.99.

Now the Boathouse is turning into a rip off. A lot of those items are not worth what they are now charging. especially the fries and such. Its just getting out of control and pretty soon people are just going to really start cutting back or not go at all.
