Okay, so the Spring Break crowds are finally gone from Disney World, but we still kinda’ expect things to be busy on weekends.
It’s not like it’s a holiday weekend or anything, but generally, we do tend to see folks headed to the parks on Saturdays and Sundays. But today, things are SO quiet in the parks, we’re finding ourselves asking “Where are all the people?”
When we arrived at Magic Kingdom, Main Street, U.S.A. seemed like a ghost town.
Good morning from Main Street, U.S.A.! Is there any better way to start your morning than with magical views like these? ✨ pic.twitter.com/8wrMW2S0ul

Frontierland looked even more empty!
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad just had a 10-minute wait around mid-morning (which is usually when we see wait times at popular rides grow). Say what?

Adventureland also felt kinda’ desolate.
Even the hub, where people generally tend to congregate, wasn’t that bad. This photo was taken during Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire and it still wasn’t even packed.
This is NOTHING compared to what we’ve seen on previous weekends. Here’s what Tomorrowland looked like.
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Land, which is usually much more congested, was pretty easy to walk through.
These light crowds weren’t unique to today, though. Last night, Rise of the Resistance had just a 10-MINUTE WAIT!!! This means we, more or less, walked onto the ride.
We’ll admit that these light crowds have surprised us, but maybe this is the best time to come to Disney World — shortly after Spring Break and right before schools let out for the summer. We’ll continue to keep an eye on the crowd situation in Disney World and keep you updated, so stay tuned to DFB for more!

The 50th is over, The Pandemic hangover is over. People are settling into an economy that is very scary. Perks for staying on property have declined, Quality of food in dining venues has declined. The move to put everything on your phone, Travel issues (cost of flying and transportation from the airport to WDW) Too many and too often the ride are broke down. Loss of extra magic hours, restrictions on Park hopper. The ever increasing cost of a WDW Vacation (DFB has a new article every week about another price increase. EVERY WEEK) We all understand that prices will increase. But Disney never stops increasing prices. While at the same time decreasing the value and experiences

Middle America’s desire to go have been tempered by so much woke publicity .

Large portions of the country are not interested in contributing to Florida’s tax revenues right now, in light of DeSantis’ ridiculousness.

I agree . The recent changes implemented by Disney has taken the joy out of a magical vacation. They have taken the incentives out and ushered in new complicated rules . The removal of the magical express is a great loss . It set the tone of your upcoming vacation . The substitution of fast pass for genie plus is even a greater catastrophe. If they are going to charge for booking a ride , why not allow onsite guest book thirty days in advance ? People are now looking at other theme parks to spend their vacations and hard earned monies .

The pent up demand is gone and Disney Woke policies and embracing non family and frankly family dangerous lifestyles is costing them. Not everything a person can dream up to support their narcissistic behavior is acceptable, and not everything needs to be embraced. Some behaviors and ways of living are fundamentally wrong. Large pats of the country are not interested in supporting Disney’s war on decency and tradition family values while facing continual price increases and service reductions.

We still love Disney, but we’re taking a pass on spending money in Florida right now. We’re going to Disneyland, instead.
