Are you familiar with POG juice?
POG stands for Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava, and all three of these flavors are mixed together to make a delicious drink you can find in a few places throughout Disney World. Sometimes though, Disney uses the juice to make some other delicious treats, (like POG juice Dole Whip floats and slushies) and we just spotted a new of those in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
While walking by Muppets Courtyard, we noticed that the Vivoli Gelato Grand Avenue Gelato Cart had an interesting daily offer we’d never seen before. There are featured flavors here that switch out periodically.
It’s the POG Sorbet for $7.50 for one scoop or two for $8.75! We grabbed it and absolutely loved it. It tastes just like POG juice but in sorbet form. It satisfied our sweet tooth and is one of our reporter’s new favorite Vivoli sorbets. This one is also dairy-free so plant-based eaters can also enjoy this!
However, this may be a little too sweet for some people, and if you’re not a fan of tropical flavors, this may not be your thing. Our only complaint was the price — it’s a little high unless you’re sharing with someone. Since a 2nd scoop is only $1.25 more, we’d recommend grabbing that and sharing it with your group to get more bang for your buck.
This flavor just replaced the brownie batter flavor, so it’s unclear exactly how long this one will be around. If you want to try it, we recommend heading to the gelato cart ASAP!
UPDATE: Nearly a month later, we went back to check on the POG-flavored gelato, and it is still available at the cart in Hollywood Studios! The Cast Members there even told us they’re considering making it a permanent offering because the flavor has been so popular.
We also saw that POG Gelato is available at the Vivoli il Gelato cart in Disney Springs as well, so you can get this snack even without a park ticket!
In other snack news, there’s been a lot of menu changes recently that we’ve given our honest opinions on, and we found a filling snack for under $8 recently. As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney news!

I tried the gelato, it was sweet, but I enjoyed it. I was, however, a little taken aback that the cast member asked me if I “wanted to support the team” with a tip screen when I got this expensive pog gelato. I did tip, but why does this place do it and not others? I don’t want this to become a thing they start doing everywhere in Disney, tipping culture here in the States is already out of control and Disney makes enough(see the price tag for 1 scoop of gelato.) The parks can afford to pay employees more instead of having employees ask for tips I think.
