Nearly three years after the Disney World closure in 2020, things are still not totally back to normal. But now, we can finally say that you can have breakfast with Disney Princesses again in EPCOT!
That’s right, we were able to visit Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion on the first day the character dining resumed breakfast service.
Come with us for a first look at our experience!

Our table was set with stoneware and weighty flatware — as you would expect at any royal banquet!
Breakfast here is served family-style, rather than as a buffet. Our server told us she would “be our buffet” for the meal. The first course was a platter of pastries, meats and cheeses.
Breakfast is $53 per adult and $34 per child here.

The main course included Norwegian waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, and a potato casserole with cheese.

Yes, that was the main course, but now for the main EVENT — Princesses! We spotted Aurora first …

And then — oh my goodness! — Tiana!!
We spotted Tiana at Akershus too! We’re wishing she brought us some beignets, but the Norwegian waffles will do just fine! pic.twitter.com/FsA9GyAuBE

Then Snow White came to visit!
And we saw Ariel!
The fifth princess who came to visit was the lovely Belle.
We were given a great souvenir — an autograph card signed by all five of the princesses we were able to see today!
And that’s a wrap on our character dining experience at Akershus! Stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney food news!

Can you meet Anna and Elsa at Akershus?
DFB Gigi says
Hi Avery! Oddly, Anna and Elsa are not at Akershus, but that’s because their meet and greet is just around the corner at Royal Sommerhus.
MrToadsWildRide says
Were they able to sign autograph books at each table?
Lyn says
Were they taking pictures with guests?
Avery says
@ DFB Gigi, thank you! I went to Royal Sommerhus in March and it was awesome!
