Recently, a LOT of new people have become Disney World Annual Passholders!
When Disney World annual passes went on sale back in April for the first time in months, there were multi-hour wait times on the Disney World website just to buy one or upgrade your current pass tier. And now, it seems that with an influx of new Passholders, Disney is preparing to offer those visitors a few extra perks!
According to the Passholder Buzz section of the My Disney Experience app (MDE), there are several NEW Passholder offerings coming soon. Disney World has announced, “V.I.PASSHOLDER Days, featuring limited-time offerings just for Passholders.” These V.I.PASSHOLDER Days will kick off for a limited time in June, but we have a few details on what to expect.
First of all, a new complimentary Passholder magnet is coming soon to Disney World. Disney said that there is a sneak peek video of the magnet in the Passholder Buzz section of MDE, but at the time of publishing, the video keeps giving an error message. We’ll let you know once we find out what the magnet is!
Disney World is also introducing a “limited-time, exclusive space” for Passholders to rest and relax in the parks, as well as Passholder-exclusive treats and limited-time photo ops. But one of the most exciting aspects of V.I.PASSHOLDER Days is the discounts!
During the event, Passholders can get increased discounts on merchandise and food & beverage locations around Walt Disney World, including discounts on select EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival food booths. We’ve seen Disney offer festival booth discounts on occasion in the past, but usually, they’re pretty exclusive.
We’ll be on the lookout for more details about these announcements — Disney says to continue checking the Passholder Buzz section of the app for more information. Stay tuned to DFB for the latest!

They are really pouring it on for Passholders all of a sudden. Sales must be lagging and they need the bodies to fill up the hotels and restaurants on property. I bought my annual Florida resident pass back I. Feb., but I have not gone to a park yet so I don’t know if it has been turned on. Will I get all of these new benefits?
