If you’re looking for new ways to get to the theme parks, then you’ve probably been invested in news about the Brightline train!
This near-high-speed rail is currently servicing southern Florida, but stations are coming soon in Orlando to make your commute to the city easier. We’ve already gotten a sneak peek inside the station at the Orlando International Airport, and we’ve been following the construction progress…but now you can FINALLY book your tickets!
The Brightline website has been updated to now show Orlando as a destination. Tickets between South Florida and Orlando are now on sale for dates from September 1st, 2023 through early 2024.
One-way SMART fares start at $79 for adults and $39 for kids. One-way PREMIUM fares start at $149. If you’re booking for a group of at least four people, you can save 25% off of SMART fares. Your trip comes with complimentary onboard wifi and in-ride meal and beverage options.
You can book now for September and later, but Brightline has shared that once the grand opening of the Orlando station is announced, they’ll open more availability for the summer dates as well.
When tickets first went on sale on the morning of Wednesday, May 17th, we experienced some slow loading on the website, but now it seems that things are back to normal. Due to the high level of interest in this new transportation option, you may have some problems with the website.
We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information on the Brightline train and the grand opening of the Orlando station! Stay tuned to DFB for the latest news and updates on this new transportation option.

We can’t wait for the service but what are the charges from the airport in Orlando to Disney Railroad station going to be. We work at the airport in Orlando and that is going to be a big question asked by our customers
Barbara says
No. Too expensive. Not direct to resort.
Vanessa says
I’ll stay with Mears transportation. Cheaper and direct to my resort with no hassle.
Janet says
I had no idea it was opening so soon. Thanks for the information!
