Ahhhh Disney World, we love you so!

There are many exciting changes coming including the return of the Disney Dining Plan, Genie+ changes, and Park Passes are disappearing for many, but one thing remains the same — LONG wait times. However, something unexpected just happened at the most popular attraction in ALL of Disney World! 

We look at the average wait times in Disney World every week and if you’ve seen them before, you know Rise of the Resistance wait times make you want to CRINGE. Hardcore. This week, though, we noticed that the ride saw a major drop in wait times, so you can take a breath now! Take a look at that drop and the rest of the average Disney World wait times below.

Magic Kingdom

Starting in Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time of 61 minutes. Last week the average wait time was 67 minutes and the week before that it was 69 minutes, so the time has continued to decrease.

Next, Peter Pan’s Flight averaged 56 minutes, Jungle Cruise averaged 45 minutes, and Space Mountain averaged 37 minutes. After that, average wait times had Haunted Mansion at 32 minutes, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 26 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 25 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 24 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 22 minutes, and Enchanted Tales with Belle averaged 20 minutes.

After that, Mickey’s PhilharMagic averaged 15 minutes, “it’s a small world” averaged 14 minutes, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid and Magic Carpets of Aladdin averaged 13 minutes, and The Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover averaged 10 minutes.

Next, Dumbo the Flying Elephant averaged 9 minutes, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel averaged 8 minutes, and Mad Tea Party averaged 7 minutes. The Enchanted Tiki Room, Carousel of Progress, the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, and the Liberty Square Riverboat all averaged 5 minutes. 

The Hall of Presidents, Country Bear Jamboree, and Tom Sawyer Island averaged no wait.

The Maleficent Dragon Fire Effect Is BACK at the Magic Kingdom Parade

EPCOT

Heading over to EPCOT, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure had an average wait time of 52 minutes — this is a slight decrease compared to last week’s average of 56 minutes. Frozen Ever After’s wait time also decreased to 56 minutes — that makes these the highest average wait times in the park.

Next up is Test Track at 44 minutes, Soarin’ at 24 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 15 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 14 minutes, and Spaceship Earth at 9 minutes.

Then, there is Journey into Imagination at 8 minutes, and Living with the Land, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, and Gran Fiesta Tour at 7 minutes.

Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China had no wait times this week.

The One Thing in EPCOT Everyone HATES Is Finally Gone!

Hollywood Studios

Over in Hollywood Studios, Rise of the Resistance’s wait time went down to 63 minutes this week (compared to 82 minutes last week). Slinky Dog Dash was the second-highest wait time in the park with a 59-minute average, which is a decrease from last week’s 65-minute average.

Other wait times in the park include Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 44 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 39 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 41 minutes, and Tower of Terror at 29 minutes.

After that, Alien Swirling Saucers averaged 23 minutes, Walt Disney Presents averaged 11 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D and Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy averaged 10 minutes, and Star Tours – The Adventures Continue averaged 9 minutes.

Unexpected PROBLEM Hits a Hollywood Studios Restaurant

Animal Kingdom

And last but not least, let’s talk about Animal Kingdom! Avatar Flight of Passage still had the longest average wait time this park this week with 69 minutes. This means the time went down just by a little bit from last week’s 70-minute average.

Following that, Na’vi River Journey at 56 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 22 minutes, Kali River Rapids averaged 21 minutes, Expedition Everest at 18 minutes, and DINOSAUR at 14 minutes.

It’s Tough to Be a Bug averaged 10 minutes and Triceratop Spin averaged 7 minutes. Both The Boneyard (which is currently closed for refurbishment) and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail averaged no wait time.
