Pixar pals, we hope you’ve brought your sweet tooth with you on your next Disney trip!
It hasn’t been long at all since we welcomed Pixar character meet and greets back to Pixar Place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, saw Baymax fly for the first time during the new Wondrous Journeys fireworks in Disneyland, and FINALLY ushered in the official opening of Roundup Rodeo BBQ with some of our favorite Toy Story friends. Now, Disney is looking to continue celebrating 100 Years of Wonder throughout June and at Disney parks worldwide in a pretty sweet way!
We’re getting a whole lineup of Disney Pixar treats to help keep you celebrating all month long, and now Disney has released a first look at a new Toy Story-themed bubble waffle sundae! We’ll be on the lookout for the Buzz Lightyear Waffle Sundae at Marketplace Snacks in Disney Springs.
While there are still more details to be released about this treat, we’re betting that it tastes as great as it looks (especially if it’s anything like that beautiful Tinker Bell Bubble Waffle Sundae we tried a while back!). We’re also waiting to see if it will replace anything in the current lineup offered at Marketplace Snacks even if just for a limited time, or just be added as an additional temporary offering.
Don’t forget that there are lots of other Pixar-themed treats in Disney World, like the Jack-Jack Cookie Num Num at Disney’s Hollywood Studios….
…the Cupcake à la Forky which you can currently find at Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Disney’s Hollywood Studios…
….Pand-Ade at the Canada Popcorn Cart at EPCOT…
…and the I’m Nemo Cheesecake at Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
We mentioned that this will be a Disney parks worldwide affair and several international parks have their own snacks coming out to recharge their batteries again! Check out some of these offerings coming back to Shanghai Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris.
I think we can all agree that we’re super jealous of those extra offerings around the international Disney parks. We’ve got reviews on several of these snacks already and will certainly be watching these as they make their way to the parks for the June celebration. As always though, for the latest in Disney food news, stay with us at DFB!
