The Disney Dining Plan is officially returning in 2024!
This announcement was a long time coming, and many guests are very excited to take advantage of this offering once again. But Disney has gotten even more expensive over the years, so how much will the Disney Dining Plan cost now? Now we have the answer.
Disney has revealed that the Standard Dining Plan will cost $94.28 per adult, per day and $29.69 per child (ages 3 to 9), per day.
The Quick Service Dining Plan will cost $57.01 per adult, per day, and $23.83 per child (ages 3 to 9), per day.
Previously, the daily cost of the Standard Disney Dining Plan was $78 per adult and $30.50 per child, and the daily price for the Quick Service Dining Plan was $55 per adult and $26 per child. That means that the Standard Dining Plan has gotten significantly more expensive for adults, the Quick Service Dining Plan got a little more expensive for adults, and both options for children have gotten cheaper!
Here’s a look at what’s included in the Quick Service Dining Plan:

Now, there are many reasons to buy the dining plan — it might lower the stress of your vacation since you can pay for dining in advance, you know the cost upfront, etc., but we do encourage you to look closely at the price of the package and compare that cost to how much you’d expect to pay for dining without the package. It may not be worth it for you!

Disney again prices itself far beyond a middle income family can afford! Mickey please come to the rescue!!
BK says
Has Disney mentioned if they’ll allow the use of two quick service meal credits for one sit down meal like they used to with the previous dining plans?
Hightower says
Waste of food and money. Don’t kid yourself. It’s a rip off!
E says
So for my family our favorites are the French offerings in Epcot so it’s doubtful that we would do a dining plan in the future.

my grandson 26 yrs old and I ate
My grandson 26 years old ate at the Liberty Tavern as in years past, but just the 2 of us this time, we were served a PLATE with a little of each item on it, no feast in bowls to spoon out what u want, truly disappointing.
I just added the Standard dining plan to resort for Jan 24, was less than $89.00 per adult per night. Gratuities are included in Cinderellas and Hoop Dee Doo. My concern was app instead of desert. Look 2 the prices of apps and deserts, a salad is the same price, ask cast member if you can substitute a salad for desert, if not gift your desert to the family beside u. Who says we can’t spread a little pixie dust….As long as SOME don’t take advantage, this shouldn’t be a problem to swap a salad for desert
Tiana says
The prices don’t look worth it for my group. We’re already paying extra for the convince of the club room at Gran Destino Tower
Meg says
When the dining plan first came out, the regular dining plan included appetizers and gratuities as well. Greed has certainung destroyed the Disney brand. I am sure that this is far from what Walt would have wanted for his Parks and products. 😫😱😪

Disney management has really turned into a joke. We used to get the dining plan all the time, we loved it. First they started ruining the restaurants. For example, Be Our Guest was one of our favorite restaurants when it first opened, then they turned it into a Prix Fixe which is crazy. The food now is terrible and it’s a double credit for Prix Fixe banquet food. Go ahead defend Disney all you want for why the do Prix Fixe. The food is mass produced junk compared to what it used to be. So the charge more for cheaper quality. Now they significantly raise the price of the dining plan. We will definitely not be getting the dining plan. It was never a bargain but it was easy with great food but not any more. Our next trip will probably be our first time eating more meals off site. DO THEY REALIZE THEY ARE LOSING CUSTOMERS. Pay as you go is a way better deal.
Erin says
Not at those prices, we can cook most of our meals at the Fort and splurge on a few character meals for a fraction of the cost. Maybe if it was seriously discounted or free.
Louis says
Shouldn’t be too bad if you remember to lean heavily on those ‘artisanal milkshakes’ as your included beverage.
But yeah, it’s a bit more difficult to meet and exceed the plan cost with your meals.
I keep wishing that they’d go back to giving the option of “appetizer or dessert” with the table meals, because you can almost always find better desserts available elsewhere for a snack credit. Maybe not a ‘fancier’ dessert, but I’d really rather have a brownie sundae from Plaza Ice Cream, than the Kungaloosh Chocolate Cake with ice cream at Jungle Navigation.
Patricia Woitkowski says
Why would you want the Standard dining plan? There are price fixed meals at the major sit down restaurants like Be Our Guest that are $67 per adult and you get appetizer, entree and dessert. Add a beverage and it might be another $10 to $15 dollars. Still less than the $97. 28 for the dining plan. Gee, shouldn’t it be worth it to get the plan?
S.Courtney says
You get the same amount for less, if skip the meal plan(either)
Tracy says
So they raised the price but took away one of the snacks. I wish I could say I’m surprised.
Gary Langdon says
When will we have a list of participating full service restaurants as well as Quick Service ones ?
Dottyanna says
Eeeks! I am guessing they don’t want anyone to buy the standard dining plan? We used to get that one and loved it, but that is a major price increase! No way now. We have even started staying off property and would have considered returning to property to get the dining plan, but now we don’t need to worry about that anymore! Whew…thanks, Disney! You are making it easier and easier for us to stay off property.
DFB Gigi says
Hi Carolyn! That’s how it was at Liberty Tavern when my husband and I went as well. The way they serve the food depends on how many people are in your party. We were at a two person table so any extra bowls would have just been in the way, but they did allow us to ask for more of anything we wanted. We didn’t ask for anything because what they brought was plenty for us, but I’m assuming it has more to do with table space than anything else.
Aaron Smart says
Just did a quick calculation using the standard dining plan for my family 2 adults and 3 children under 10 cost about $278. Working out food cost for a day to eat the same foods I would on the dining plan. 5 snacks at about $8 each total $40. Lunch at cosmic rays adult mains $14 kids $9 (mine would probably want an adult size meal) with drinks total $70. Main meal I looked at coral reef adult mains between $25-36 kids average $13 having looked at the menu our order with drinks would come to about $210 without gratuity.
The total to pay out of pocket is $320 so the dining plan would save us about $40 per day. Of course we could eat off site but this would reduce time in parks and add travel costs of some form or we could depending on room type eat in room. But we are from the UK and would want to make the most of our trip in every way possible.
Tammy Campbell says
Interesting that they raised the price and dropped a snack for the standard dining plan. The extra snack was originally added when they removed dessert from the QS meal and that was good with us since that added flexibility. Now it’s just dropped completely.
