NEW ADDITION Announced for Gideon's Bakehouse in Disney Springs

Gideon’s Bakehouse has a lot to offer on a typical day — MASSIVE cookies, decadent cakes, and theming that makes a visit a full-on immersive experience. But, if you’ve been following along with DFB, you might know that they often add special releases and limited-time treats to the lineup. And now we’ve got some Gideon’s Bakehouse NEWS to share!

Gideon’s Bakehouse shared the news of this new lineup on Instagram recently. First up, there’s a new flavor of cookies for the month of June! The Sea Turtle Cookie is made with premium Chocolate, Homemade Caramel, and whole Candied Pecans and is sprinkled with Sea Salt.

Why is it named the Sea Turtle Cookie, you ask? It’s for a great cause! A portion of sales from this treat will support Florida’s Sea Turtle Conservancy. Keep in mind, this cookie is limited to 2 per person while supplies last each day.

The backstory of this cookie involves a character named Reginald Ridley, who left his ocean home to help spread the word about Sea Turtle Conservation. There will be two Limited Edition Art Prints of this character for purchase — an online exclusive and an in-store exclusive.

The online exclusive is a signed 11×4 Reginald print that is only available to order today (June 1st), so make your way to their website if you’re hoping to score one! The in-store 8×10 colored, signed print of Reginald is available at both the Disney Springs location and their East End Market location while supplies last.

There is also a NEW candle for the occasion. The “By the Beautiful Sea” Candle has notes of Coconut Milk, Sandalwood, Caribbean Teakwood, Orange, and Tonka.

And don’t forget to check out the limited edition sticker and shirt for the cause as well.

Next up, to celebrate Pride Month, know that you can get the Rainbow Crunch Cake at Gideons. The cake is typically available on the regular menu on Fridays, but during June you can find the cake available by the slice EVERY DAY. We’ve seen this cake in the past, and you can read our review here.
