To ensure we are equipping our readers with all the information they need, we will continue to report on all travel, safety, and COVID-related news that could impact a Disney Parks visit.
A lot has changed in the past three years; in 2020, the Disney parks temporarily shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, then Disney began a phased reopening later that same year. Since then, the parks, hotels, and the world have slowly readopted old procedures that had been modified due to the pandemic.
Now, another pandemic-era procedure is changing at the Orlando International Airport.
The Orlando Airport has been through a lot of changes. A brand-new Terminal C was built, new flights and airlines arrived at MCO, and the Brightline Train added a stop to the airport.
Now, the Orlando International Airport has another important update. The COVID-19 testing locations at the airport are officially closed. The airport shared a message on Twitter announcing the change.
COVID-19 Testing Sites Update: The COVID-19 testing locations at our airport have closed. Travelers and employees wishing to receive COVID-19 tests are welcome to visit https://t.co/M2x1Gf8SOX for locations and details. Thank you!

If travelers would like to get tested for COVID-19, they can find a list of nearby testing sites in the area on the City of Orlando website.
We will continue to share important updates about the status of the Orlando Airport, so stay tuned for more.

Thank you for the update. I sincerely appreciate it (and will make sure to pack a couple of COVID test kits in my luggage).
