If you’ve been hoping to get on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (a.k.a. the Star Wars Hotel) BEFORE it shuts down later in 2023, NOW is the time to act!
Reservations for the remainder of 2023 had been put on pause, and then reopened, only to fill up FAST. As of May 26th, Disney warned that the experience was unavailable for new bookings, but that some availability might pop up from time to time. And that time is…NOW.
When we visited the Star Wars Hotel website today, we noticed something interesting. VERY limited availability appears to have popped up for select dates in June 2023. It looks like 4 voyage departure dates are now available for booking again.
Availability can change. According to Disney, the availability we saw posted online was last updated on June 5th, 2023 at 1:32PM ET. Disney warns, “Availability is for informational purposes, only updated periodically and subject to change when you call.” So be sure to call and see what is actually available for you!
Note that you CANNOT book Star Wars Hotel reservations online. Instead, you’ll need to call Disney and get to the Star Wars Hotel reservation line at (407) 939-1800.
You can also reach out to a travel agent to assist you. We highly recommend our friends over at Small World Vacations. They’ve got years of experience, can give you great Disney tips to ensure you book the right vacation for you and can help eliminate some of the stress from your trip planning!

In case you’re not familiar with it, the Star Wars hotel offers a two-day, two-night itinerary that is more like a cruise experience than a traditional hotel. You’ll get to participate in a range of activities and dining experiences in an immersive environment. Those activities include lightsaber training, bridge training, and more.
The experience will have its LAST VOYAGE on September 28th-30th, 2023. One Disney executive — Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, Josh D’Amaro — shared that “It didn’t perform exactly like we wanted it to perform, so we decided that we’re going to sunset this in September.”
Keep in mind that availability is subject to change again so you’ll want to keep checking the website (and calling Disney) for any updates.
