Traveling can be very stressful.
You’ve been there, we’ve been there. You’re hoping you packed everything, pleading with the universe you have enough time to make it through security, and are crossing your fingers you won’t hit any delays or cancelations. If you’re flying out of Orlando soon, there’s a new change you need to be aware of that may take many guests by surprise.
The Orlando International Airport has just announced that starting on June 7th, Spirit Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and Breeze Airways are being relocated inside the airport.
Airline Relocation Update: Starting tomorrow, June 7th, Spirit Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and Breeze Airways will be relocating in our airport. For any further questions regarding your specific flight, please contact your airline directly. Thank you. pic.twitter.com/utYIYq4KBP

This means that you won’t find these airlines flying out of their previously known gates, AND the ticket counters and check-in areas will also be moved. Here’s a break down of the changes:
Spirit Airlines
- Ticket Counter and Check-In will now be located at Terminal A, Level 3
- Baggage Claim will now be located at Terminal A, Level 2, Carousels 2-5
- Gate Assignments will have NO changes
Alaska Airlines
- Ticket Counter and Check-In will now be located at Terminal B, Level 3
- Baggage Claim will now be located at Terminal B, Level 2, Carousels 21 or 22
- Gate Assignments will now be through Gates 30-39 (Airside 3)
Breeze Airways
- Ticket Counter and Check-In will now be located at Terminal B, Level 3
- Baggage Claim will now be located at Terminal B, Level 2, Carousels 20 or 21
- Gate Assignments will have NO changes
So why all these changes? Well, we don’t know anything for sure, but the airport has been making way for more airlines to fly in and out, and they have to make room somewhere! If you’re traveling soon and are stressing, check out this amazing collapsible suitcase we recently saw, and be sure to keep an eye on DFB for all the latest flight deals.
Here’s how parking at the Orlando Airport is about to get easier!

I wish Jetblue would move back to terminal A or B. Terminal C is the worst because of the amount of walking you need to do to get to your gate and upon arrival the amount of walking and level changes to get to the baggage claim and pickup curb. Parking in south economy for terminal C is atrocious. Cars were parked all over the place, on the grass, on islands, on the side of the roads. They only have one or two bus stations, again causing you to walk a long way dragging your luggage. Terminal C was designed with heads in the sand.

YES JANET!!! We hate terminal C and wish Jetblue would move back too. Not only are all your points correct, but terminal C has ZERO character, it’s all white and gray, we miss the tropical look of terminals A & B.
