You’ve been saving, you’ve been budgeting, and now you’re ready to splurge!
Your big splurge for this Disney trip is a stay in a Club-level room at one of Disney’s Resort Hotels, but which should you choose? Let us help you find the right one for your trip!
This might be a trip of a lifetime! Maybe to celebrate a big life milestone like a proposal, a wedding, a honeymoon, a graduation, or recovery from an illness. Or perhaps you enjoy a regular splurge but are looking for something a little different. No matter the reason behind your splurge, you want to make sure you’re spending your money wisely.
What is Club Level?
Club Level is a special room category at select Disney Resort Hotels that offer extra perks! If you’re staying in Club Level accommodations, you will have access to a special lounge that offers snacks and beverages throughout the day. While the offerings vary by resort, typically you’ll find light continental-style breakfast options in the morning, afternoon snacks and beverages, and the evenings provide small dishes that are “tapas” or small-bite style, as well as wine, beer, and cocktails. Those who book a Club Level room also receive planning help before their visit and a dedicated Concierge Desk on-site to help you get any last-minute Advance Dining Reservations and other vacation add-ons like tours or dessert parties.
The Concierge at Club Level is open between 7AM and 10PM and is usually found near the Club Level Lounge and can help with MagicBands, tickets, dining, recreation, transportation, and even provide recommendations for a daily itinerary. If you’re staying at Club Level, you’ll be checked in at an exclusive area and escorted up to the Club Lounge. Once you’re checked in, you’ll receive a sort of Club Level “orientation” to let you know the services provided to you. You’ll also be introduced to the Concierge Cast Members, who can help you set up any resources or special services during your stay.
Club Level guests also receive a nightly turn-down service, complete with pillow mints or chocolates.
Club Level areas are usually restricted by levels or floors and tend to only be accessible with a MagicBand, MagicMobile, or key card that is linked to a Club Level reservation. This ensures that Club Level benefits are only used by those who have paid for the service.
Let’s be upfront with you, it’s difficult to rank these Club Level options because when you’re looking at the offerings, they’re pretty standard across the board. Each Club Level has these same amenities, a lounge, turn-down service, and Concierge Cast Members for that extra planning assistance. So, it’ll really come down to the RESORT and not necessarily Club Level that will determine how these stack up against each other. Some resorts offer more transportation options, fantastic pools, and immersively themed rooms and lobbies.
It’s those details that can make the difference in how these rankings will land. We have a HUGE series on how some of these resorts stack up:

Chronos Club Level in Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs Resort
Who says that all Club Level suites have to be in Deluxe Resorts? Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is the single Moderate Resort on the list of Resorts with a Club Level option.
Club Level options for Coronado Springs Resort arrived with the addition of Gran Destino Tower in 2019. In fact, Club Level access is exclusive to rooms in the Tower, which include Standard View rooms, Deluxe-, 1-Bedroom- and Presidential Suites.
The resort is at the bottom of our list (which, ironically, is at the top of our post) because though you can receive those Club Level amenities and accommodations, there are a lot of “deluxe” perks you’ll miss out on, like proximity to the parks and multiple transportation options around the Disney parks.
Though the trade-off is that this Club Level stay is also among the cheapest you’ll find, if you really want to splurge, this might not be the experience you’re seeking. It’s still pretty swanky!

So guests staying at the Innkeeper’s Club will be immersed in that Coney Island charm and that easy access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
Club Level guests may choose from standard rooms or water or garden views, or opt for a 2-Bedroom Suite.

As it connects directly to the Beach Club, the Yacht Club likewise boasts a walking path directly to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios as well as easy access to the Disney Skyliner.
The Club Level rooms are located on the Yacht Club’s 5th floor, which provides great views of Crescent Lake and the BoardWalk Inn across the way. And on evenings, take in the magic of the fireworks at EPCOT from your top-floor view.

The Club level rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort are located in the Hawaii and Tonga buildings, and the private lounge is on the second floor of the Hawaii building.
A HUGE bonus to the lounge is that it offers fantastic views of Cinderella Castle and the Magic Kingdom fireworks, and the music for the fireworks is played on speakers inside the lounge during the show.

Kilimanjaro Club Level in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is nearest to Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. The most unique thing about this remarkable resort is that there are over 200 animals that LIVE on the savannas of the lodge!
The Kilimanjaro Club Level is on the 6th floor of the resort’s Jambo House, and while it is spacious and lovely, the Lounge itself does not offer a view of the savanna where the animals can be seen.
If you have dined at Boma or Jiko — The Cooking Place, you may be thrilled to know that the Lounge offers many bites like those you’d enjoy at those restaurants! A selection of South African wines is also available to try.

But if you’re just looking at the Club Level amenities, you’ve got our list to help you narrow down your decision!

Melissa says
Would you get the dining plan if you got a club level room? I’m thinking of staying at this level for a trip next year and would like your opinion
DFB Gigi says
Hi Melissa! Generally, we think you save more money without the dining plan, but it does allow peace of mind when it comes to booking restaurant reservations, knowing that everything is paid up front. The Club Level food isn’t incredibly filling as it’s mostly snacks like pretzels and goldfish crackers, cereal, milk, pastries, etc.
