Disney tends to go all out for its celebrations.
Disney World’s 50th Anniversary lasted 18 months. Now, we’re in the middle of the Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary, and everything is decked out and platinum. Soon, we’ll even be getting a new nighttime spectacular in EPCOT. But, did you know Dinsey is currently celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Tokyo Disney Resort? And, you guessed it, they’re not holding anything back for the occasion.
Japan Airlines shared on Twitter the unveiling of their newly-themed aircraft for Tokyo Disney’s 40th Anniversary. The plane features Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy in a colorful graphic on its side.
Japan Airlines is the official airline of Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea, and is taking part in Disney’s celebration that spans April 15th, 2023, to March 31st, 2024. On the “JAL Colorful Dreams Express,” this Disney-themed plane, guests are welcomed with specially designed, 40th Anniversary paper cups…
…and headrest covers featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
Travelers will also receive a Boarding Certificate Sticker to commemorate the occasion on request.
This isn’t the first time Japan Airlines went all out for a special occasion. Earlier this year, they debuted a new 100th Anniversary airplane, the Jal Dream Express Disney100 Boeing 767-300ER.
And in 2020, there was a plane to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Fantasia.
So, this airline has a history of decking out its planes for special Disney events. We’ll keep looking out for all the latest Disney news, so stay tuned to DFB for more!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but JAL doesn’t fly 767’s to the U.S. so you would have to go to Japan to see this aircraft in person.
