One of the HOTTEST characters to meet right now in Disney World is Moana.

Maybe that’s because a new live-action Moana movie is on the way. Maybe it’s because EPCOT is getting its own Moana attraction. Maybe it’s just because this is the first time she’s been available to meet guests in Disney World. Whatever the case, we’ve been seeing some SUPER long lines for her meet-and-greet. Well, we’ve got a secret to help you skip those long lines.
Moana meets in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and if you’ve ever checked out her meet and greet, you’ve probably seen the HUGE line to meet her. Well, we were walking around Animal Kingdom recently and walked by Moana’s meet-and-greet location, and a Cast Member informed us that there was only a short wait. So WE MET HER!
There she is!
So what’s our secret? Well, her meeting time was ending soon, so it seems like her line might be the shortest right BEFORE she stops meeting guests (which was at 4PM the day of our visit). So if you REALLY want to meet Moana without the long lines, have some patience and wait until later in the day. Keep in mind that we can’t promise short waits every evening, but if you’re willing to take the risk, we say give it a shot!

This could even be a good tip for some of the other more popular meet-and-greets in the parks that don’t have Lightning Lanes, too. So keep that in mind if you see a long line for those meet-and-greets — you may be able to meet that character later with a shorter wait.

I met Moana in Dec 2017at Magic Kingdom in an after hours event. Have pictures to prove it! If your web site would let me post it I would! My name rhymes with Moana! 😁
Do they cut off the line right at 4 (or whatever time she stops meeting) or if say it’s supposed to end at 4 but the line is long so they will cut it at 3:30? Want to make sure we don’t miss it but we are park hopping and getting there later on in the day!
