We’re sorry, but you’re walking past the most UNDERRATED quick-service restaurant in EPCOT.
We’re talking about Connections Cafe & Eatery, where you can get some pretty good quick-service food that will (hopefully) please the ENTIRE family. We’ve actually enjoyed quite a few of the meals and snacks we’ve had here, so we’re back to try two NEW additions to the menu.
First up is a brand-new pizza! Okay, yes, we know not to get TOO excited over pizza in Disney World, but this is a Margherita Pizza for $11.29. It’s two (yes, two) slices of Freshly Baked Pizza topped with San Marzano Tomato-Basil Sauce, Roma Tomatoes, Mozzarella, and Basil.
Okay, the flavors on this pizza were INCREDIBLE — everything tasted very fresh. The tomatoes were bold and tangy, and the basil added a fragrant brightness to the whole thing. Yay for good pizza in Disney World, right?
The mozzarella was DELICIOUS, though it didn’t hold up when we were trying to take photos. But hey, CHEESY is always a good thing, right? We were happy to have TWO slices of pizza to enjoy here! But yeah, that crust got a little floppy due to all those ingredients, and we’d recommend eating this quickly before it falls apart.

Next is a new Plant-Based option: the California Burger for $12.99. This is a Plant-based Burger on a Toasted Brioche Bun with Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado, and Plant-based Dijon Mayonnaise.
So this burger almost fooled us — it looks like meat, and the texture also resembles meat. The flavor, though, was a bit nuttier, though we liked that (but some people might not). Again, we were impressed by the quality of the ingredients — everything was fresh and flavorful.
The tomatoes and avocado tasted great with the Dijon mayonnaise. We also thought the bun was good — it was fresh and soft — no stale burger buns here, people!

Is the California burger at Connections the same as the California burger at ABC Commissary in Hollywood Studios? If so, that would be awesome as that is the best plant based burger at Disney World!

Hi Patricia! They are not the same. The California Burger at Connections Eatery is a Plant-based Burger on a Toasted Brioche Bun with Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado, and Plant-based Dijon Mayonnaise and the California Burger at ABC Commissary is a Seared Farm Fresh Plant-based Burger with Sriracha Mustard and Balsamic-glazed Grilled Peppers and Onions with a “Mayonnaise”-Ketchup blend, Lettuce, and Tomato served with choice of Side.
