We’ve got it on good authority from Santa Claus himself that a FESTIVE holiday celebration is returning to Disney World this year — and Santa himself might even make an appearance!
It’s an exciting time — Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is coming BACK to Disney World this year, and we can’t WAIT! If you didn’t already buy tickets to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, you might want to consider a trip to Florida this holiday season instead. After all, it’s the most wonderful time of the year, so they say!
This year Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will take place on 25 select nights from November 9th through December 22nd, 2023.
The holiday party is a little shorter than Disney’s Halloween party, so keep that in mind when looking at the dates.
Just like Disney’s other seasonal parties, is a separately ticketed event that takes place after the park closes to regular guests. For the 2023 season, you can find a full list of the party dates below:
- November: 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28, 30
- December: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22
Last year, we saw special party offerings like Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show and the beloved Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Good news! Disney confirmed that both of these exclusive entertainment offerings will return this year!
Also returning will be the Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show!
Look out for exclusive holiday overlays at various attractions, too. In the past, the Jungle Cruise has become the Jingle Cruise, and as an exclusive perk for event guests, Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, and Mad Tea Party have received a special holiday makeover for the party as well.
Tickets are set to go on sale on July 6th, 2023, and will range in price from $159 – $199 per person. However, Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can get tickets early! These guests can begin purchasing tickets as early as June 29th, 2023 on the Walt Disney World website. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more!

Kelly says
What time will MK close on the days when the party happens?
DFB Gigi says
Hi Kelly! Generally Magic Kingdom closes an hour before the party officially starts so if the party starts at 7pm, they’ll close at 6pm.
Trina says
I know you can enter early into the park before party starts. Could you buy an individual lighting lane for Tron if you wanted? Or would you have to have a park reservation separate from party. hopefully that makes sense.
DFB Gigi says
Hi Trina! You would need to have a park reservation and ticket for that day, separate from your party ticket in order to buy the Individual Lightning Lane.
Lyndsy says
What time do the tickets go on sale? I’m assuming 7am? Any thoughts on this?
Cindy says
Already got my tickets for two nights in December during our 10 day visit! So excited!
Jayne D Evans says
No, was going down for my birthday and the party, but the party sold out before I could reserve it!
