Disney just dropped a ton of news about holiday happenings throughout the parks and resorts!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is returning to Disney World, Oogie Boogie Bash will be back at Disneyland, and we can’t wait for those epic holiday ride overlays. Speaking of which, one of our favorite holiday ride makeovers is coming BACK — and we’re telling you everything you need to know!

Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion Holiday will be returning on September 1st, 2023. For those who don’t know, Haunted Mansion Holiday is a ride overlay that typically takes effect around September each year in Disneyland.

We usually see the ride close for a while before the start of the overlay, and when it reopens, it’s all decked out with both Halloween and Christmas decor, as well as characters from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. The overlay usually lasts until Christmas is over, but last year we saw it stick around through early January!

Haunted Mansion

Haunted Mansion Holiday isn’t the only Halloween touch coming to Disneyland Resort this fall. At both parks, you can meet characters dressed up in their Halloween costumes, see intricately carved pumpkins on Main Street, U.S.A., and eat some delicious Halloween snacks and treats!

And there is, of course, the Oogie Boogie Bash, which will take place on select nights in September and October.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on June 29th (no earlier than 9AM PST). However, Magic Key Holders will be able to grab a limited amount of tickets on June 27th (no earlier than 9AM PST). Tickets will be available at Disneyland.com/OogieBoogieBash. Ticket prices range from $134 to $189.
