San Fransokyo Square, a new reimagining of Pacific Wharf, is set to open this summer, and Disney just shared some major news on the project! We now know the opening timeline, more details of the food options to come, and … news about the arrival of a new store!
Disney shared that San Fransokyo Maker’s Market, a storefront “stocked with unique apparel, homewares and more featuring Baymax and friends” will be opening near the Hamada Bot Shop.
San Fransokyo Ongoing Transformation
In the concept art for the area, you can see details themed to the movie, like market shelves “situated on robot storage cases, with decommissioned battle bots on display.” Up above, the local battlebot champion, Hiro’s Megabot, sits in the rafters!

Nearby, a “vending machine dispenses collectible golden medallions featuring Baymax and other iconic images from San Fransokyo.” In July, some of the new dining options will be available. In the following weeks, these shopping experiences will follow suit!
