Disney World, are you ok?
If you’ve been to Disney World, you probably know about the importance of having the My Disney Experience app on your phone. It can allow you to purchase and book your Genie+ Lightning Lanes, Mobile Order your favorite foods, and help you check the times of shows and events. But we know at Disney World, you should anticipate something going wrong.
When we opened it this morning, the My Disney Experience app was showing an alert saying that attraction wait times may be inaccurate or not available at this time. It goes on to say “Please visit attraction entrances in the park for updated wait times.”
UPDATE: After a couple hours, the My Disney Experience app appeared to go back to normal, with wait times showing up again. But, this is definitely something to keep in mind on your next trip to the parks!
If you continue to the wait times page in that app, the notification shows up again.
You can see on the map view of Magic Kingdom, that no wait times are currently being shown. We know this could hinder your park plans.
Even in the list view, no wait times are currently listed and this is also true for other Disney World parks as well.
You might be able to visit a wait time board in the current park, however, we are not sure these would be affected as well. As Disney said, it is best to visit the front of the attraction for the most accurate wait time. You can also head to Guest Relations if you have any other issues!
Hopefully, this will be back up and running soon. For more Disney news, be sure to follow us at Disney Food Blog.

Interesting. Disney is forcing us to heavily rely on our phones to have info and their system goes down. Sounds like a lot of situations today where we are forced to adhere to some agenda without the necessary technology to back it up. 😡
