Can you believe we’re only 30 days away from the start of EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival?
We tried everything at last year’s festival, and you can bet we’re gonna do the same thing this year so you know exactly what to expect! Attending the festival this year and feeling a little lost with all the information, or don’t know where to start? Here’s everything we know about this year’s festival!
The Basics
EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival takes place from July 27th to November 18th this year, and anyone with an EPCOT park ticket and park pass reservation has access to the festival.
Food Booths
While the full list of food booths hasn’t been released yet, we do know that The Fry Basket, Flavors From Fire, Canada, India, and Spain are among the 25 food booths that will be available.
Plus, new festival booths will be opening later in the festival, which we’re very excited to try. We expect the full list of booths to be announced soon, so stay tuned to DFB!
Eat to the Beat Concert Series & Dining Packages
We also know the Eat to The Beat Concert Series will return this year, which is where “internationally recognized artists as well as local bands” perform on the America Gardens Theatre stage in the America Pavilion. There are multiple different genres to be enjoyed during the festival, so there really is something for everyone.
Dining packages will also be returning for the concert series, and reservations need to be placed ahead of time. Reservations will open on July 6th, and we expect to hear more information about these dining packages in the next few days.
Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak
Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak will be returning this year as well! This is the Food and Wine Festival scavenger hunt that’s a really fun activity for families.
Your scavenger hunt boards will be able to be picked up at select merchandise locations (to be released soon), and after you hunt for Remy all around World Showcase, you can return to select locations to get your prize!
Emile’s Fromage Montage
If you love cheese, you’ve gotta check out the return of Emile’s Fromage Montage. You’ll need to purchase any 5 of the featured dishes from select food booths listed in the Festival Passport, and grab a stamp from the booth when you do!
Once you’ve got all 5 stamps, you can get a FREE “completer prize,” which was a strawberry cheesecake soft serve with a piece of cheesecake on top served in a souvenir cup at last year’s festival — we’ll have to wait until the festival starts to see this year’s prize.
Festival Merch
Of course, festival merchandise will be part of this year’s festival too! We got a sneak peek at one of the new sweatshirts coming this year, which reads “Wine your way around the world!”
There’s still lots of news we’re waiting on for this year’s Food and Wine Festival, so be sure to stay tuned to DFB for all the latest news and count down to the festival with us!
