Don’t be alarmed, but on a recent trip to Frontierland in Magic Kingdom, we captured VIDEO EVIDENCE of a Country Bear attempting to commit a crime!
Spontaneous character interactions can sometimes be the BEST and funniest part of your Disney World trip, especially when you run into troublemakers like Wendell. Check out this nefarious (but still completely adorable) story from the park.
On our recent trip to Magic Kingdom, we saw Wendell from The Country Bear Jamboree roaming around Frontierland.
He is a fun-loving bear who you can usually find doing something to make you smile. Well, this day he decided to be sneaky and try to take our new Starbucks tumbler!
He snagged a reacher grabber tool from a nearby Cast Member and used it to (almost) get our new merchandise!
Oh, Wendell…he’s trying to steal our new Starbucks tumbler! Keep your paws to yourself! 😂🐻 pic.twitter.com/sUiRw3ZWFF

OK, so he didn’t actually steal anything from us. But it was definitely a close call! 😂 Maybe he let us keep our new merch because earlier this month we bought the LAST Wendell Bearclaw (RIP) and gave it to him. If anyone deserved the last one, it was him. I mean — come on! How cute is he?
So keep your eyes out (and hold on to your bags 😉) when you see Disney characters. You’ll never know who you’ll run into and what you might see.
Remember the time we saw Anastasia and Drizella, the evil stepsisters from Cinderella, riding Prince Charming’s Regal Carrousel??
And speaking of Cinderella, one evening during the fireworks, we saw the princess dancing under the Happily Ever After fireworks in Magic Kingdom. This one may have caused us to shed a few tears.
We’ve seen our fair share of special moments since we are in the parks daily. Recently, while riding Kilimanjaro Safaris in Disney’s Animal Kingdom we saw a new baby animal. We also saw Disney build a special ramp to make some adorable ducklings more comfortable. So whether it’s catching the perfect sunset at Cinderella Castle or discovering a hidden character hiding in plain sight, magical moments can make your Disney day.
So thank you to Disney characters and Cast Members for making memories with guests just like us. For more adorable Disney news, be sure you’re following us at DFB.

The Country Bears are the best character interaction in the parks IMHO. I love that they are back to wandering around Frontierland and messing with people. Once a long time ago, one of them snuck up behind me and scared the be-Jesus out of me. It was hilarious and something we all still laugh about to this day. Country Bears are the best!

I had so much fun playing peek-a-boo around a big round column with Winnie the Poo on one visit, and I was lucky that one of my friends got a photo of it!
