Tickets go on sale TOMORROW for one of the most popular Disney events of the year, so you’ll want to hurry to secure your spot!
Oogie Boogie Bash in Disneyland is a big Halloween party featuring exclusive entertainment, themed treats, villainous character meet-and-greets, and more. This event is known to sell out QUICKLY (we’re talking within just a few days), so you need to be prepared to buy your tickets ASAP.
General Admission Oogie Boogie Bash tickets go on sale tomorrow, June 29th, 2023, no earlier than 9AM PT. Magic Key Holders can already buy their tickets now — tickets went on sale for this group on June 27th. Note that Disney said no earlier than 9AM — it’s possible that tickets won’t be available until a little later in the day, but if you’re ready to go by 9AM PT, you should be OK.
Last year, Oogie Bookie Bash was COMPLETELY sold out within five days of tickets going on sale. It’s a popular party, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see the sing happen this year. Get your tickets sooner rather than later!
Tickets will be on sale on the Disneyland website.
Oogie Boogie Bash takes place on select nights between September 5th and October 31st. The part is, of course, hosted by Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, and he’s joined by many other Disney villains. Guests are invited to wear costumes and experience Bash-exclusive entertainment along with access to the park’s attractions and lots of exclusive treats and activities.
During the party, you can check out the Trick-or-Treat Trails where you’ll spot characters along the way, watch Mickey’s Trick and Treat Show, check out the Frightfully Fun Parade, and tour the Villains Grove maze filled with villainous scenes presented through lights, shadows, and sounds along the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
The Oogie Boogie Bash takes place at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort. The Bash officially begins at 6PM and ends at 11PM, but ticket holders may enter the park starting at 3PM.

Jumped online promptly at 9am PDT, immediately got a message that the wait time would be “more than an hour”…8 minutes later the site crashed., but I got a message to leave your browser open”. Two hours later got a message that they were “aware of a technical issue with Oogie Boogie Bash ticket sales”. It’s now been over four hours. And nothing. Apparently random guests have been successful.
Unfortunately, this is business-as-usual for tickets to Disney special events or any time sensitive sales for Disney Parks. How can a company with SO MUCH EXPERTISE with technology keep letting this happen?

I live in Hawaii, so we’re 3 hours behind PT. Got on promptly at 6:00am Hawaii time, got the “more than an hour” message, then 6:08am got the “ticket sales paused” message. Kept my laptop and phones open on the site, then over 7 hrs later got the “the queue has closed” message. Total waste of a day. Thanks Disney. Why can’t Disney sell special event tickets as smoothly as Universal? We had no problems getting HHN tickets. Apparently, all the price gouging Disney has placed on its guests doesn’t translate to upgrades in technology for things like this.
