It’s been nearly three years since Marvel star Chadwick Boseman passed away from colon cancer at the age of 43.
Since then, his life has been honored in many ways, and Chadwick is about to be honored once again in a big way.
According to KABC, Chadwick Boseman has been selected to receive a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The news was announced by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and the honorees were chosen from among hundreds of nominations. Boseman, best known for playing Black Panther in the MCU, passed away from colon cancer in August 2020, after being diagnosed four years prior.
Boseman filmed a number of projects “during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.” His final feature film appearance was in August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom as Levee.
Other stars being honored in the 2024 class include Marvel head Kevin Fiege, Michelle Yeoh, Chris Pine, Otis Redding, and more.
